Mugg is a long term member and better than stuff like this IMO.
I also take issue with the middle east narrative, while the recent events are awful this has been going on for thousands of years and neither side can play innocent. Many interviews I've seen from the Israel side are horrid, the war mongering kill all the opposition venom coming from leaders is going to cause more damage than what we saw here and as long as neither side has an interest in peaceful existence this will never get better.
Extremists are the worst of society but does that mean we ignore the way Israel gained access to their position and that they also regularly commit human rights violations and are not likely to ever stop?

I’m sorry wallstreet but that’s a lazy answer . There are many long term members here that produce much more partisan black/white content than Mugg . And on a Grander Scale . Why are they not being put on blast like this ? I can only infer or surmise that you maybe do not feel that they are better than this type of partisan black/white style of behavior or writing as you have defined it . Partisan people seek partisan complaints, that is really the answer. The issue for mods isnt what party someone is but how do they interact with other members and if they keep the rules.
Your complaints are really not about the site rules, you just dont like people who fail to interact and engage when you want them to and that isnt breaking the rules. So your complaint I answered many times and is not really the issue with Mugg, he has evolved into a very partisan poster the last few years and that was my comment in this thread only.

And yes, Hamas pulled off a good barbaric attack and just like us on 9/11 Israel caught flatfooted. They were SMART and Israel stupid. And many people lost their lives because of stupid leadership.

your target and reasons are consistent, I see what you are doing and why so no need to take offense at it. The group you want to engage do not but the extent to which they are combative and attack other members is not the same.
Partisan is partisan, if you look at all the threads in this forum and divide them based on party and then look at content its all the same style same approach same schtick there is no difference. So partisan this or partisan that really has no meaning and when either side complains (like a few messages above) its just noise, all I care about is how others keep the rules and how members treat other direct members.

I believe spockgato's question, as is many others' here, why you don't pop into all the threads that slander conservatives & make similar comments? You can't claim to be "non-partisan" when you're only pushing back one way.
As far as this thread is concerned, I'm truly sickened by Tlaib, & the fact that very few dems have the guts to call her out. She was confronted by a reporter about her comments & didn't have the guts to answer.

I think you know that answer, you are not like the others in the different groups here, but you have turned more into a group doob in the last few years than I ever remember in the past. You have turned very partisan and yet we both have a longer history so I might make a comment to you specifically because I think you are better than this.
The answer as I said to him and Ive said to your group so so so many times is that aside from my own political comments, I only interact outside content when there are rule abuses or when I think a member is being a bully or abusive even if inside the rules. So I dont really have a ton to say in other threads for those you dislike unless they are breaking rules BECAUSE it is not really content, they like to have their huddle about Trump and about how great Biden is but outside that most of them keep to themselves, AND if one does interact (like midnight) most are quite tame about that interaction. So I do not need to go into their threads because the content is lacking, there are no rules being broken and no member to member bullying. Sure they say comments about Trump followers and that annoys YOU, but crap if the same exact thing does not go on in the other partisan threads...so if you want me to go in and nuke their Trump doobies bashing then I would need to do the same with the Biden/DEM/LIB comments and where would that place us exactly? It would mean that there are like 3 posters who can be in this forum, so I dont do that. The abusers of DIRECT members and/or the site I will be involved and that is all I have ever done.
If my comments to you are too much then maybe you need to see that the decline into partisan madness is beneath you and you do not need to stoop to those levels. With regard to your original topic, its not black and white and that was my original comment. Were you ticked back during the fake 9-11 media attack on certain demographics that society was against groups that didnt deserve it, that in the heat of the moment people got nasty to innocent groups because of an inaccurate narrative? The same thing goes right here right now. So your angst about that situation is really misplaced, why are we as a society not upset that the region was allowed to foster this awful situation, one group gets shoved into an area without the agreement of the ENTIRE region, and that group has the objective of total destruction of anyone who is not with them? That is the narrative of Israel and has been for thousands of years, you know it and I know it. So why are we not holding Israel responsible for their acts and for their aggression even now when the focus should be to deescalate and reduce the loss of life? Israel wants to take this opp and bring all of their allies in to take out the groups they deem as deserving, that will only lead to more death, more destruction, more antagonizing, more divide. If you notice the big world players are not immediately siding with Israel and neither should we, it was the same thing we did with 9-11 and it was wrong then too.
My intentions are not to open Pandora’s Box but instead they are concentrated on dealing with the miseries and sorrows that surround us that lay just outside of it ……
but I can hear the first creak of it being opened every time someone leaves words unsaid and plays with semantics like it’s a Rubik’s Cube that they can’t seem to solve .

That rubiks cube cannot be solved, the individuals that need what you are suggesting are not even in the universe of mindset to get it. I saw your message in the box from earlier, it was pretty good and yet it means nothing. It means nothing because the audience is not even able to read the words let alone understand, take it in, have impact, illicit change and evolve to thinking more than how big of a Trump flag they want to hang behind their F500 truck or how their social freebies are the focus of their lives. People are not able to grasp what you and I suggest, that we have to think of more than our political partisan blinders, we have to consider more than just what we feel is best and think of the impact on society and those in greatest need.
I see little to no sign of unity and higher thinking on this site, in the general public, it is so remote and obscure it is a shock when I see even a glimpse.

I appreciate the compliment. I don't get offended by the sea of Trump-bashing threads here because I really don't like him, & if it makes others feel better, great, knock yourself out. 95% of threads in this forum are similar........bash the other party so that I/we can feel superior. But the hypocrisy of much of it is laughable, & none of us are completely immune to that.
As far as Tlaib goes, this isn't just a one-off.......more like the straw that broke the back (for me, anyhow). She & her squad members make it plain that they don't care for our society & want to change it. If you go back & look at the comments they've made over time, they each seem to think that a lawless society might better suit us as a whole, but never give an example as to how. This country, our society, our track record, isn't perfect by any means, but what are the alternatives? We've been a more diverse society than most for a long time, & as much as that should be lauded it also invites conflict, ie nobody is always happy all of the time. That can be said about anywhere but more so when you have a multitude of cultures trying to coexist under one flag. Tlaib ignored the slaughter of people to spout her own ideologies. She acted as though "those people deserved it because of XXXXX.....". I was appalled by her comments. It seems as though she felt revenge had been exacted.
The ME is an example of what we should be trying to avoid IMO. I'm certainly no ME expert or historian, but for thousands of years, they've had clashing ideologies, & each tries to quash the other......... they simply can't get along. We, OTOH, seem to think we can........& it works for the most part. But we are slowly getting people into gov't.positions that don't believe that. Does history show us there's anything from another country or society that should be implemented here to make us "better"?

Speaking of Jeffries, I just saw a quick interview with him before the next speaker vote. His buzzwords seem to be "extremism" or "maga extremists".........but I've never heard him explain what he means by that. Is wanting to get control of spending & secure our borders "extreme"? Or is he just pissed that Biden is getting investigated?
