I explain the situation over and over and yet it does not compute and that is for obvious reasons. One group in this forum is dominantly combative to other members, it is clearly obvious and that group has to be warned, boxed, banned for breaking the rules of the site.
Another group bugs the crap out of the first group but is not breaking the rules of the site as regularly in the process, thus they get dealt with as per the rules of the site and to the first group that might feel uneven, but the reason for this illusion of being uneven is that our decisions as mods are based on the site rules and that alone.
Here is the bottom line, if you think there are unfair imbalances in how one group is being boxed more, then KEEP THE RULES and stop attacking the specific member, you will see that the correlation of boxing will drop as attacks on the site, members and general rule breaking drops. If it is that hard for one group to stop from personal attacks and abuses of other people here, then quit posting and replying to them. And as it has been said 20 times, if anyone is breaking the SITE rules then report it, let admin or mods deal with it and you stay OUT. That is the problem, one group cannot control themselves and make regular personal attacks and then are offended when I have to take action.
I dont care what party you are, just be an adult and treat others with respect at all times, do not make personal attacks or site attacks and try to add value instead of destroying it then crying with the outcome.

Yes, true Wally but what about that 3rd group you left out??
You know, the one that acts like the first group you mentioned but never gets called out like the first group.....THIS is where the double standard comes in. Has nothing to do with the 2nd group. You know the 3-4 usernames, they always jump in to defense the 2nd group....almost right on cue, almost as if that is their only purpose here...almost like "the same, but different"....almost like a...caugh, caugh....an alter ego alias.

I never understand the whining and complaining or the "what about the 2nd and 3rd group" nonsense. If some of you are just so distraught about how the forum is policed why not just leave this forum and find another discussion board where only like minds can post, praise, and complain constantly on political matters? There are tons of such boards that exist online. Why constantly cry about? This is not a court of law.

Wally brought up the "groups"....I don't give a shit either way, just pointing out that his premise is false due to only limiting to two groups. There is a fourth group here too, only a couple people though so its more like a duo, and not boy band like the other groups

I addressed that, keep addressing it over and over and over.
There are two problem groups here, the GOP doobs and the DNC doobs, those are problem groups, anyone else isnt really a problem they are an onlooker even if they are a GOP or DNC political follower. There are two distinct groups and they are the groups of issue, the problem isnt discussion or politics its how people treat each other and that is all we are concerned with. The "third" group you mention should follow the rules of the site, not take the rules into their own hands and break rules in the process.
If anyone in any group or an onlooker has an issue then report it and let the admin/mods check it out and deal with it, that is the only solution and anything outside of that will cause issues. If members try to retaliate then they are subject to being banned/boxed, thats how it works here and it is the same for every forum on the site.
We have means to investigate reports that members send in and we get more from the politics forum than anywhere else on the site and most of the time it is one group complaining about the other and there is most often no cause for action because most mods know the history of you guys and know that its more than likely a report that is caused by the reply someone else made or that there is a history of interaction that needs more consideration and not just black and white actions.
Here is a novel idea, all of the members here need to respect each other, follow the rules and be adults instead of partisan babies who cant control their tempers and want to attack each other and validate their POV. If a member cannot follow the rules then stop yourself from replying in the first place.

I was not specifically referencing you. I do not post as often here as much and no you do not either. I am just saying when I check in I tend to see certain posters constantly whining about others, and almost begging Wally and mods to box and discipline others. It is usually one small group of posters crying about it and claiming it's just so unfair.
My only gripe with regulating the rules is there seems to be inconsistency when actual rules are broken. Some can call others nicknames and even curse them out in the mains and nothing, and others get boxed for teasing with a good natured nicknames. I do not think political sides or ideology even has anything to do with it, just seems to be inconsistent application of rules overall.

The real reason is that it corrals the stuff into one place, without it then it would seep like green ooze into the GD and other forums, so this way we have one spot for this crap and any other outside political posts get shoveled into here as well.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., tripled down on the Hamas narrative that Israel was behind last week's explosion at a Gaza hospital, something that had already been debunked by both Israeli and U.S. intelligence.
Last week, Tlaib quickly condemned Israel after it was first reported that an Israeli airstrike killed hundreds of Palestinian civilians at a Gaza hospital.
"Israel just bombed the Baptist killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that," Tlaib wrote on X. "@POTUS this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire & help de-escalate. Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslims Americans like me. We will remember where you stood."
Initial reports were solely reliant on a statement from the Hamas-controlled Gaza Health Ministry. However, evidence emerged that the origin of the explosion was from a misfired rocket within Gaza aimed at Israel from Hamas ally Islamic Jihad.
It was also revealed that the explosion mostly occurred in the parking lot of the hospital and that the death toll is estimated to be a small fraction of what Hamas first alleged.
"People think it's ok to bomb a hospital with children," Tlaib told the crowd Wednesday.

Hours after the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel, some members of Congress known as The Squad attacked the Jewish state and even asked that the United States stop helping it financially. They are Rashida Talib (D-MI) and Cori Bush (D-MO), who were quickly criticized by their Republican and Democratic colleagues. Among the latter group is Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), one of 26 person currently serving in the House of Representatives.
"It sickens me that while Israelis clean the blood of their family members shot in their homes, they believe Congress should strip U.S. funding to our democratic ally and allow innocent civilians to suffer", he concluded.

wtf is this ?? Not sure why you are using a quote of mine from an entirely different thread in response to one of your "comments". Might want to clear that up Pilgrim...
So your "comment" in the other thread is the exact same as the Congressman quote ?? Weird, maybe next time try to post your source or just put it in "quotes" so someone doesn't assume it is you and respond accordingly....
