The President implored the Muslim leaders of 50 countries to get rid of terrorists in their countries and “drive them out“. No world leader had ever done this!

Not so much the every day American. That's how the market works. Investors say, "We have a president that's in the corner of big business, so confidence in big business is high. The tragic thing about the President is while he may have pandered to so called alt-right groups to win the office, it's my feeling he whole heartedly wants to reach across the aisle and unify this country along racial and party lines. You hear reports of him seperating himself from people like Steve Bannon, even though he thinks very highly of him and values his contributions. Gestures like that are olive branches that say, "I'm here to serve ALL Americans." Then something happens like the events of this weekend and no matter how good his intentions may been when he took office, they all go out of the window. Don't get me wrong, I believe Trump is a big busiman who only cares about big businessmen when it comes to financial policy. I also believe he had the potential to be a unifier of the country like we haven't had in a long time. People on the left who will scoff at this notion need look no further than his history of donations to Democratic politicians. So while I feel he lies to Americans when he says he cares about jobs, I believed in his potential as a unifier. And all of that potential may be dead now. I also voted for him based on foreign policy and homeland security stances but that's another story. Frankly, we never talk about policy here, in a political forum. They don't talk about policy in Washington either. Every one just points fingers. We need to stop assigning blame and looking at ourselves to see how we can be better.
