It's important the truth came out from Georgia republicans in this instance as it just proves once again the Trump is a serial liar.
many already knew this truth
they r known as democrats and independents

Fact check:After getting target letter in 2020 election probe, Trump tells a new election lie
Daniel Dale - On Tuesday night, Trump went out of his way to tell another election lie. At a town hall event in Iowa, Fox host Sean Hannity gently suggested that Trump, now a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, should embrace early voting, mail-in voting and legal ballot collection. Trump said he would do so, but he refused to offer an unequivocal endorsement. Instead, he added the kind of false claim he deployed in 2020. “I do,” he said of supporting the methods Hannity mentioned, “but I also have to say something else, ‘cause the one thing a lot of people, including you, don’t talk about: they also create phony ballots, and that’s a real problem. That’s my opinion. They create a lot of phony ballots.” Trump didn’t say who “they” were, but his claim is pure fiction.
There was a tiny smattering of voter fraud in the 2020 election that was not even close to widespread enough to have changed the outcome in any state. While a minuscule number of people – many of them Trump supporters voted illegally by sending in a ballot for a deceased relative, voting twice or voting while prohibited because of a felony record - there was no sign that anyone created “a lot of phony ballots” in this election or any other recent federal election.

Former President Donald Trump keeps telling the lie that he won Georgia in the 2020 election. This weekend, he delivered a new false claim in support of that old false claim.
“All this despite winning nearby Alabama and South Carolina in Record Setting Landslides.” He concluded the post: “Does anybody really believe I lost Georgia? I DON’T!”
Facts First: Trump lost Georgia fair and square in 2020, by 11,779 votes, and his claim that he won South Carolina and Alabama in record landslides is not even close to true! Numerous previous candidates have earned far larger margins of victory in South Carolina and Alabama than Trump did in 2020! Even Trump himself won each state by a larger margin back in 2016 than he did in 2020 – a fact that contravenes his insinuation that his 2020 failure in Georgia was mysteriously at odds with a better-than-ever performance elsewhere in the region.

At his hearing today for closing arguments, trump repeated his usual "victimhood" misleading rhetoric, lies, and factual dishonesty. He's effectively trying to portray himself as a Christ-like figure being wrongly persecuted by the left and prosectued by his political rival who can't possibly beat him in an election
[notwithstanding the one he did lose to Biden already]

I dont care about the dolt who is Trump but I did find it slimy and bizarre that jingle Trump was spamming on his social media site, it made me wonder if people who respect Trump really have intelligence. The way he positions himself as something greater than the rest of us serfs makes me seriously wonder the mental intellect of his supporters. He is no better or smarter or divine than any other person on this planet but if you followed that pied piper stuff he pushes you would think he is deserving of worship. It reminded me of the Jim Jones stuff from back during Jonestown when I was a kid.
Cant we do better than giving power to abhorrent people like Trump and useless lifers like Biden? The GOP has zero high quality, high morals inspiring options and we wonder why most people here on this site and in society want to strangle each other most of the time.

Yes, well said sir
That said, what is it about Vivek you don't like?? You've said before you think he is "a divider". Have you watched and listened to anything from him at all or just read the MSM sound bites that make him sound like a mini DJT ??
He's no Mitt, but I'd take him over the rest of the GOP options if forced to choose. Haley might be the worst of them, dare I say it, even worse than Biden...

You said something nearly identical almost exactly 3 years ago in the wake of trump inciting an insurrection, in the second post of the very popular "I'm embarrassed for trump supporters" thread and I agree. Sure, Biden is NOT what this country needs going forward, that's for damn sure and I've stated this before. Since gas prices (causing inflation) and supply chain issues emminating from 2020 pandemic (causing more inflation!) and the terrorist attack on Ukraine (causing MORE inflation!!) and OPEC cutting back on production for profit taking (causing even more INFLATION!!!) - as you have accurately pointed out many times - are clearly not Biden's fault - frankly I am surprised the old fart has accomplished as much as he has especially after inheriting an unprecedented and monumental disaster from the trump regime. Three major legislation passed and getting us the hell out of the $300 MILLION PER DAY moneypit in Afghanistan that the republicans dragged us into 20 years ago, plus numerous other moves to help Americans (well detailed by Thirdperson the past 2 years, including this week) Better than any modern day president has achieved in his first 3 years BY FAR. That said, he is NOT the answer going forward. NO WAY!
And yet, if we have to choose the lesser of two bad choices (which I hate doing) to any rational person not wearing partisan blinders, clearly Biden (albeit begrudgingly!) is still the better alternative than donald "adolf" trump!
However, if say sane, moderate republicans like Adam Kinsinger, or John Kasich, or Chris Christie, or Larry Hogan, or the former Lt.GOV of Georgia, Geoff Duncan, were the republican nominee against Biden --- I would vote for any one of them. They are good people. Joe is too but he is NOT the future, not even near term! Anyone of those republicans would be a solid choice for me. And for the Dems, if GOV Gavin Newsome was the democratic nominee, I would likely (but not for sure!) vote for Newsome over any of the republicans I just mentioned.

As he bowed out of the presidential race, Mr. Christie was heard mocking Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis. His departure leaves the field without its most vocal Trump critic.
Former Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey suspended his presidential campaign on Wednesday, but he undermined his effort to stop Donald J. Trump when he sweepingly dismissed his Republican rivals during a hot-mic moment.
Minutes before his announcement in Windham, N.H., Mr. Christie could be heard on the event’s livestream, saying, “She’s going to get smoked, and you and I both know it,” in a reference to Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor. “She’s not up to this.” He added of Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, “DeSantis called me, petrified.”
Mr. Trump immediately seized on the remarks, writing on Truth Social that Mr. Christie’s comments about Ms. Haley, who appears to be the most significant obstacle to a Trump victory in New Hampshire, were a “very truthful statement.”

No way....he is a looney bin taking ADD meds, the stuff he says as his platform are wayyyyyyy out there tooo much of a conspiracy theorist wackadoo for me. He feeds into the extreme fringe GOP crowd for sure but its a strong NO for me with that guy.
This country does not need another revolution and an implosion and that is exactly what he suggests, that is not at all in the best interests of this country. How he has a place at all is way beyond anything I can imagine.

Agree to disagree. I can see how you view him in that light though due to the MSM coverage. I just don't think that is an accurate description of the guy. His tear down the bureaucracy and consolidate government services platform is definitely something I could get behind. The system/machine needs some "reset". Not tear down and start from scratch. A revolution and implosion I don't see in the cards, a lot of his stuff is no different than Ron Paul with regards to his economic, international, domestic policy and constitutional rights.
We are 10 months out from a POTUS election and still not sure who the final two candidates are going to be left standing come November. This summer leading into the fall is gonna be lit.

I faulted Paul back then for the exact same flaw in thinking. Neither of the two are really targeting the cancer, they both think the institution is flawed when I think the flaw is in lobbyists, corporate influence and money which pollutes government. Rama is a corporatist the same as Trump and others, so he would never go the route of getting corps and lobbyists out. If you scramble the pieces per Rama and leave the money in and the dark finance sources entrenched then NOTHING changes. Money is the cancer, but no politician will take it on because then they have no source for political campaigning or position or like Haley and Biden and others, their personal wealth is zapped...so gee I wonder why nobody ever talks about that?

“Do they hate our country? They must hate our country. Because there’s no other reason that they can be doing the things they do. Take a look – the taxes, they want to raise your taxes TIMES FOUR!”
Facts First: This is false. Neither Biden nor other top Democrats are proposing anything close to quadrupling people’s taxes.

Trump is leading in the polls, and this is happening. Judge decided before the matter began that Trump was liable. No evidence; my experts were denied the chance to testify. She’s [Carroll is] a drug addict, according to a friend. I must say she her appearance was not hard on my eyes but she would not be my 50th choice for legal counsel!
Is it really hard to believe that the man who brags about being able to grab them right by the… could be found to have committed sexual assault. Or that the man whose words are transmitted by internet in real time could be guilty of defamation. Or is Biden witch hunt! Politically driven! Election interference! Are more logical ?
