Trump has a long history of defrauding contractors, students, investors and employees. No other former president faced thousands of lawsuits as defendant. For examples, legal violations, non-payments, political campaigns, sexual misconduct, executive orders, taxes and financial manipulation. Unlike past presidents, Trump has lost vast majority of lawsuits while in office according to Center for ethics in government.
My grandpa was in a South Jersey construction union. If you asked him about Trump he would say in his thick accent “a**hole” because Chump was notorious for hiring immigrants and then stiffing them. Most people in South Jersey have known he’s a fraud for the last 40 years. I remember going to his properties in the early 90s and thinking “what a dump!” The Tropicana and the Excalibur in Las Vegas were classier and more successful lmao.

i hope it is dealt fairly and in accordance with the law as it would apply to anyone else tax fraud is a serious criminal matter
trump, his company and his accomplices are being dealt with fairly and in keeping with our laws SO FAR, but the real concern is not his protestations of chronic "victimhood" but rather that the prosecution may actually be too soft, let alone the eventual sentencing.

Trumps had role in fraud scheme, former exec testifies at company's trial
CBS News, Nov 17
Former Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg testified in court Thursday, describing how Donald Trump and two of his children allegedly participated in a scheme to defraud tax authorities.
Somehow I have my doubts there will be any serious consequences to the Trump crime family.
I hope I'm wrong.

@Zeus4par Looks like you may be right about that. Trump and his corrupt kids will evade charges and word is his corrupt company which is guilty of fraud over 15 years may only be liable for a paltry $1.6m fine, maybe less.

I heard elsewhere that it is possible the jury could increase the fine with punitive damages.
Sentencing is expected January 13

Donald Trump, who had endorsed Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s bid for House speaker, declined to say Tuesday whether he still supports his longtime ally after McCarthy, R-Calif., failed to clinch the job in three consecutive votes.
Trump had repeatedly backed McCarthy for the job and urged his allies in the conservative Freedom Caucus to unite behind McCarthy as well.
Despite Trump's urging, nearly two dozen Republicans voted for Republicans other than McCarthy, leaving him far short of the 218 votes needed to be elected speaker.
Trump's distancing himself from McCarthy could prove fatal to his already imperiled bid for speaker. McCarthy was a top ally of Trump when he was in the White House, and the then-president repeatedly referred to him as "my Kevin."

Trump is taking a victory lap now as he usually does whenever something inevitable occurs.

Fascist ruler of Trump cultcalls for Politico journalists to be jailed
INSIDER -
"The Supreme Court has just announced it is not able to find out, even with the help of our 'crack' FBI, who the leaker was on the R v Wade scandal," Trump wrote. "They'll never find out, & it's important that they do. So, go to the reporter & ask him/her who it was. If not given the answer, put whoever in jail until the answer is given. You might add the publisher and editor to the list."

Trump and lawyer fined nearly $1m for 'bogus' legal claim against Hillary Clinton
YAHOO NEWS - Donald Trump and one of his lawyers have been fined nearly $1m, for what a Florida judge called a bogus legal claim against Hillary Clinton and her top advisers.
The ruling ordered the disgraced former US president and his his accomplice, lawyer Alina Habba to pay nearly $938,000 to the defendants in the case, after claiming they conspired to sway the outcome of his winning presidential campaign by working with Russia.
In the wake of the sanction, Trump quickly withdrew his equally frivolous lawsuit against New York attorney general Letitia James.
US district judge Donald M Middlebrooks called Trump's lawsuit against his rival Mrs Clinton, former top FBI officials and the Democratic Party, "completely frivolous, both factually and legally" and one which "amounts to obstruction of justice".
Citing other legal action that Mr Trump is embroiled within, Judge Middlebrooks described the former president as a "prolific and sophisticated litigant" who uses the courts "to seek revenge on political adversaries".

Trump missed an entire day of his golf club's senior championship tournament but declared himself winner anyway
INSIDER -
According to The Daily Mail, Trump's competitors were surprised when they showed up to the course on Sunday only to find that the former president had claimed a massive 5-stroke lead!
Trump, according to the report, was "claiming" that an earlier round would count for his score in lieu of him having missed the start of the tournament.
Trump owns the golf course [so cheating & dishonor is OK]

Trump Reportedly Pictured With Convicted Ex-Philly Mob Boss At Florida Golf Club
Forbes -
Former President Donald Trump was photographed posing alongside convicted ex-Philadelphia mob boss Joey Merlino at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach earlier this month, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
The Merlino photo op seems to contradict new protocols Trump’s campaign reportedly installed following the Fuentes meeting, including vetting anyone who comes into contact with Trump and having a senior campaign official with him at all times, a process the Associated Press reported in November.

JAN 30, 2023: The lawsuit accuses Woodward of “systematic usurpation, manipulation, and exploitation of audio,” by publishing “The Trump Tapes,” Woodward’s 2022 audio compilation of his conversations with Trump, which ultimately exposed Trump as a corrupt, incompetent fool who has no idea or desire to defend Americans from harm if it is inconvenient for him personally.

Republicans Push To Rename Part Of John Lewis Way In Nashville To 'Honor' The Twice-impeached Insurrectionist and Convicted Tax Fraud, Trump
The bill, sponsored by Tennessee state Rep. Paul Sherrell (R) and state Sen. Frank Niceley (R), would rename a portion of Nashville’s Fifth Avenue that had been named after Lewis. The section is between James Robertson Parkway and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The republican proposal, which calls for the stretch to be called President Donald Trump Boulevard, comes less than three years after Trump insisted that he hardly knew who Lewis was and that he couldn’t say “one way or the other” if he found him impressive.

Sad that this goes on non-stop for years but if you oppose the lunacy, you go to jail.
Not a big deal. this is only covers and it's only the same 6-8 s and no one ever comes from the outside and supports their BS. I don't ever intend to have an impact on them except to irritate the shit out them with...as they say..."facts"
Sad that the moderator has allowed it indefinitely and worse, that he joins in with them but this IS America. I would love to know the reasons I'm jailed when all I do is the EXACT same as they do?

NEW ARENA - The reality TV show that put Donald Trump back into the spotlight is extra fake. The premise of The Apprentice essentially involved a group of business folk (or celebrities) interviewing for a job at Trump’s company.
Obviously, the firing segment was scripted for dramatic effect.
Contestants apparently knew they were going to be “fired” before it even happened. The worst part was that there was no actual prize for the winner other than being the winner.

They found another tape of Trump trying to steal the election from Biden
cut from the az republic ::
Donald Trump’s people called it a campaign rally, but that’s not what it was.
It was a clear message sent to the worst of his supporters.
Trump’s rally in Waco, Texas, over the weekend occurred as the city marks the 30th anniversary of the 51-day siege that resulted in the deaths of four federal agents and 82 Branch Davidians.
In an editorial, The Houston Chronicle called Trump’s visit a dog-whistle to supporters that was being held in a place now considered “a shrine for the Proud Boys, the Three Percenters, the Oath Keepers and other anti-government extremists and conspiracists.”
Trump isn’t even trying to run a political campaign this time around.
