An Ohio Army vet who refused to wear a face mask because he didn’t want to buy into “that damn hype,” died of coronavirus complications on the Fourth of July.
Richard Rose, 37, of Port Clinton, who served for nine years, including two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, died at his home, according to an online obituary.
Back on April 28, he posted that he was ignoring official recommendations to wear a face mask amid the deadly pandemic.
“Let [me] make this clear,” Rose wrote.
“I’m not buying a f—ing mask.
I’ve made it this far by not buying into that damn hype.”

Miami-Dade ICUs are at 127% capacity
Florida currently has 9,351 Covid-19 related hospitalizations,
an increase of 189 since Saturday morning, according to the
Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
Miami-Dade County alone has 2,008 hospitalizations while
Broward County has 1,240 hospitalizations, AHCA data shows.
Miami-Dade County ICUs are at 127% capacity with 507 admissions
and 398 bed capacity, according to data from the county.

I take it you have never been to New York City? It is situated quite differently than South Dakota or any city in Florida. People are just slightly closer together in constant contact with one another, which means greater spread of disease and more deaths.
