I am not interested in engaging with you or especially this question. If you want the answer to your question go back in the dialogue and find it, the answer is there.

The question was asked in a completely different manner than you are suggesting so the response to how you are asking the question has no relevence for the same reason as the other guys attempt. See loaded, baiting, insincere questions asked completely out of context are very easy to see especially from cetain posters (as yourself) that either jump in just to take the jab as you did, OR as the other guy did try and mask the comment and hide the dig. Either way the question is moronic, there was no context there was no discussion it missed its mark in both cases and we move on.

If you are really interested in debating content then feel free to do so, if you are only attempting to pester me or any other poster without real intention of discussion I would hope you already know we do not allow it and I wont allow it.

To fake/mask your stalking it helps to be more involved in general discussion and not just target the hit...the effort comes off weak and lacking.

We certainly won't know immediately.  In 2 1/2 years (the 2020 elections), the public will render a resounding verdict, although of course the voters will consider other factors.

So does draining the swap mean accumulating Trump-like debt at 2012 historic high levels by giving unwise tax breaks to corps and a few pennies to the little guy financed with this debt?

When the economy is allegedly good (not convinced) you pay DOWN debt, not accumulate historic high levels or is this just Trump-Economics?

WallStreet-I have no idea how you mod this forum.  Much respect.  But I gotta ask...why do you continue?  To try and explain basic economics to people in here is...um........just to be honest, painful to watch from the outside, forget about big picture economics like how taxes work, how stock markets work, and how global economies work.  

Why do you keep on keepin on?

Ain't that the truth. I gave up myself, but wall just keeps plugging away, as if more than 3% of the posters can even understand him, much less learn anything (closed minds don't do that). I admire perseverance, but sometimes it is a fruitless virtue.

China has responded by sending a tariff on 128 products. Beijing states this is the first of a two stage tagging hike on American goods. Hardest hit recycle materials soy and pork.

Worst day in US stock market in six weeks after Trump announces tariffs on China.  Growing fears that a trade war may harm global economic growth.  Contrary to Trump's beliefs, there are reasons why trade wars aren't easy to win.  First, tariffs may not boost jobs much and many dead jobs won't return.  Secondly, tariffs are likely to raise costs.  Third, political consequences are unclear. 

Fourth, tariffs invite retaliation and escalation of conflicts.  For example, China holds the largest portion of US national debt and could dump US treasury bills?  Perhaps, halt US shipping through Panama canal or stop exports of rare earth minerals?  History shows that everyone loses in trade wars.  Hard to find economists that support protectionism.

I'm reading the China tariffs on U.S. goods are around 3 bil as of now.  I'm thinking that's the starting point with escalation coming down the road.  Hoping this doesn't kick start a full scale trade war.

No panic, just simply pick and choose your investment sectors MUCH MORE CLOSELY.  What you don't buy is just as important as what you do buy.  For instance they can talk to me until they are blue in the face but will never convince be to invest in BTC.  I'll let my assets sit and rot in Gold & Silver before I buy that snake oil.

3/23/2018 --- TheGoldenGoose --- Canada's C-45 Recreational Use MJ Bill cleared a major political hurdle last night as PM Trudeau rallied his troops to a successful 44-29 vote which appears to pave the way for a mid-summer signing into Law which will hopefully happen by the July 1st Canada Day Holiday.

Despite the Dow taking a 700 point nose dive yesterday and some investors running for the cover of Gold investment there was no similar relief in Bitcoin investment as the price of Bitcoin retreated to $8,400.

With Dow Futures down again this morning I would urge any serious investors to not dismiss opportunities in Canada MJ Stocks.  Major Canadian Producers such as Canopy Growth (trading under TWMJF) are beginning to finally receive attention from the Stock Pundits and Canada MJ Stocks will probably be one of the very few sectors not affected by any potential USA Trade War that could send the Dow tumbling even further downward.
