Trump wants a US enemy to damage our American Commander-in-Chief
(CNN) - Donald Trump is doing it again -- putting his personal goals and burning zeal for revenge above the national interest -- as he once more appeals for Russian President Vladimir Putin's political help in the midst of the brutality in Ukraine.
Trump's call on the Kremlin strongman to dig up dirt on President Joe Biden is no surprise. He's called on Russia and China before to interfere in US elections to boost his chances, and he got his ass impeached for trying to blackmail Ukraine to do the same!
But this may be the ex-President's most twisted and pathological attempt yet to corruptly advance his own political career. Putin is raining atrocities on Ukrainian citizens, bombing hospitals, schools, apartment blocks, razing entire cities, threatening nuclear war, and sending over 4 million refugees west into Europe. But Trump seems eagerly willing to overlook all of that in service of his own perceived interests.

I will be the 1st to break it to you fubah2. joe biden will be removed from office and Hunter Biden will be indicted. We still have patriotic Americans inside the government who do not want to see the United States go down the sheeter. It is just a matter of time.
While I am thinking about it. Will somebody please give camala cue cards so she can communicate! She can not articulate 2 consecutive sentences.

Not only is [donald "adolf"] Trump seeking to cook up a self-serving conspiracy with a Russian President much of the world now regards as a war criminal, he's also asking an enemy of the U.S. - who has threatened nuclear war against us - to damage the American commander-in-chief, who is leading the West [coalition against a tyrannical dictator]

Trump's latest appeal offers a window into his twisted morality as he lines up again alongside Putin, whom he called a "genius" earlier in the Ukraine crisis, even as much of his own party condemned the invasion. And it raises fundamental questions about the patriotism of an ex-President who sometimes hugs the stars and stripes at his rallies but who often showed while in office that he cared only for his own interests.

All roads lead to Putin: Trump pressured Saudis to cut oil production in 2020 to raise global prices
By A J Pennyfarthing
"Why did the Trump administration’s few “victories” all seem to help Vladimir Putin more than our own people? Since Russia produces little more than fossil fuels and foolish fossils, it had a keen interest in buoying oil prices during the recession. And unlike providing basic health information to the nation’s citizens during a deadly pandemic, this is a task Trump somehow managed not to fuck up. Hmm, wonder why.
Trump pulled us out of the Iranian nuclear deal in 2018 because of his searing hatred for President Obama, and in the process, he took millions of barrels of crude off the global market.
Now Biden is hoping to bring down the gas prices that Trump raised, both intentionally and through his boundless bumblefuckery. He’s asked Saudi Arabia to pump more oil, but they’re sticking to their guns—presumably because they want infinite mulligans when it comes to gruesomely dismembering innocent journalists.
Of course, the global oil markets are volatile and complex, so blaming any single individual for the price of gas is pretty silly. But since Republicans are seeing fit to hammer Biden on this issue, it behooves us to fight back with the facts—and the fact remains that Donald Trump raised prices on U.S. consumers in 2020 to help Vladimir Putin, Russia, and ExxonMobil, et al.
So if you really want to blame a president for the current inflated price of gas—well, maybe you should blame that fuckingguy."

No doubt when Trump moves back into the White House in January of 2025, he will fumigate the oval office and remove the stench of China Joe and his traitorous pals (including the chocolate Jesus) from the peoples' house. Trump's legacy, which is ongoing, has by his mere presence on the political scene, unmasked the many demons that have proven themselves to be traitors to the nation and its citizenry. It is a spiritual battle that is taking place for the soul of America. So many delusional people have embraced the lies of the mainstream media and they delight in vomiting back up what they have been spoon fed by the propaganda ministry.
2 Thessalonians 2:
9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusionso that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Oil is a global market. It's ridiculous to blame any one person.

President Trump ordered the National Park Service to find photos that made his inauguration crowd look huge
SALON - On the day after his inauguration, amid humiliating reports that his attendance fell way short of Obama's, President Donald Trump personally called the director of the National Park Service, Michael Reynolds, to pressure him to find evidence that the media had distorted his big league crowd size.
The president's first morning in the White House reportedly started off on the wrong foot, as Trump angrily called advisers and aides about the media that he claimed was out to get him. Side-by-side photographs that circulated on social media comparing Trump's inauguration with Barack Obama’s in 2009 clearly showed that Trump's crowd was indeed much smaller.

@fubah2 And then he had his Press Secretary Sean Spicer lose all credibility when stating it was the largest inaugural crowd ever or something in that manner.
Ahh yes. "PERIOD!!" - Spicer still living with that lie to this day.
Sad. Very sad.

Mizelle, 35, was only eight years out of law school at University of Florida when Trump appointed her to the lifetime position in 2020.
The Daily Beast noted at the time that her only trial experience was as an intern, and that she held four clerkships, including one for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
Mizelle was rated “not qualified” by the American Bar Association prior to her appointment by Trump.

National judicial college poll found that 60% of judges oppose lifetime appointment of federal judges. It removes accountability and becomes a partisan weapon. Absolute power corrupts. Hard to remove bad judges. Better to have limited terms. Is US the only nation that gives judges lifetime tenure?

Disturbing that Trump's worst judge overturns a reasonable mask mandate on air travel and public transit. Center for disease control is far more qualified to determine public health policy in a pandemic than judges. CDC is right to be cautious. Millions of people remain vulnerable because of weak immune systems that don't fully benefit from vaccines. Hundreds of Americans are still dying from covid daily. Politicized patchwork responses to pandemic is one of the reasons why US has almost one million covid deaths and millions of hospitalizations.

I agree with this! Fully.
But, that said,
I saw an interview with a moderate lawyer guest on CNN where he explained that the judge appears to have solid grounds to overturn the mask mandate because the CDC failed to follow "due process," and that the CDC has incorrectly done this before, he said.
It's almost like setting an arsonist free because the cops forgot to read him his miranda rights. A technicality, as it were.
Now, that said, I'll swing back to defending the CDC, because the way that guest lawyer explained the "due process" the CDC skipped, that process would take several days to weeks to deploy, and there is a reasonable sense of "urgency" in regard to public health present. So perhaps there needs to be exceptions available to act in the best interests of public health when that urgency is present! None of us here know all the intimate details or regulations, but this might be one of those rare cases where the judge made a correct ruling on a technicality, but at the same time there could be an exception that allows the CDC to rule as they did!

There are conflicting opinions on that judge's motives. All seem plausible.
But I agree the CDC must retain the procedural right to act expeditiously for nationwide public health.

Thankfully those numbers are down under 400 per day thanks in large part to Biden's push on vaccinations

Not low enough imo. If not for republican-inspired "vaccine hesitancy" it could be half that.

Trump set to rally support for Nebraska gubernatorial candidate facing multiple sexual assault allegations
MSN - Donald Trump will head to Nebraska Friday to hold a rally to boost his endorsed candidate for governor, Charles Herbster, who faces allegations he inappropriately touched women, ahead of a contentious Republican primary that has pitted the Trump's influence against that of the state's term-limited GOP governor.
Trump announced his April 29 rally in Greenwood just days after the Nebraska Examiner reported that seven women, including Republican state Sen. Julie Slama, had accused Herbster of groping them at political events or beauty pageants, with an additional woman accusing him of kissing her forcibly. In six cases, at least one eyewitness corroborated the women's allegations, the publication reported.
