After accepting a humming economy from Obama (rated #11 best US president all-time by highly-respected/comprehensive surveys by experts), on his watch, the multiple indicted GOP RICO mob boss/fraud/sex-offender was also responsible for a crushing recession; FAILED to do the one thing most important to any US presidency - PROTECT THE COUNTRY! - setting in motion conditions leading directly to the deaths of over ONE MILLION Americans from a killer virus; stood by while over 20 million Americans were thrown out of work leadiing DIRECTLY to unprecedented financial hardship to much of the country and many millions of citizens and businesses; oversaw a spike in unemployment of over 14% - the worst since the Great Depression preceeding WW2; the only modern day US president to actually take a good economy and good unemployment numbers (from a Democrat) then leave the office in disgrace with a WORSE economy and BAD unemployment numbers....handing the task to fix HIS mess back to the Democrats.......again!; called our fallen soldiers "losers" and "suckers"; then incited and presided over one of the most heinous acts in our Republic by actually attempting a coup to overthrow a democratically elected US government - a criminal act leading to his arrest on multiple felonies, which also include multiple trials for fraud and sex crimes.

On a sports-gambling forum of all places, the INTELLIGENT among us fully understand that the outcome of and final assessment of the coaching & performances in  a football game  is NOT determined  by the score at the end of the 3rd Q (ie, first 3 yrs in office), but rather, the score/outcome at the full conclusion of the game.

an_police   Election Denier Mike Johnson                    tests his new power with very risky gambit on Israel

    CNN -
His decision to seek huge cuts to Internal Revenue Service
funding to pay for a $14 billion emergency aid package
to Israel shows that even an ally fighting an existential war
is not immune from the stunt politics of a House GOP that
spends more time pleasing conservative media
    than running the country.

Oooooohffff..... YAY a fupa football analogy to play with.... Let's break down this hypothetical football game the right way, let me set the table here...

0:01 remaining in the 3rd Quarter. Score?  Idk, let's say something along the lines of when the Dolphins put a 70 burger up on the Broncos earlier this year.  For this exercise make it 49-13.

Starting QB was previously knocked out in the 1Q at the 8:45 mark by a viscous LT on Joey T style leg breaker.  Starting QB was of the Dan Orlovsky 2008 Detroit Lions variety, the 0-16 one ya know.  Basically he never had a chance at anything other than being a bottom feeder, back up QB, even after all the years of experience in the Congressional political arena, whoops I mean gladiator arena of football.  The team was already down 14-0 at this point but its not over, there was still yet hope.

Fast forward to halftime (2 years in).... Achane and Mostert just BLEW up in the 2Q, breaking off 50, 60 yard TDs and running off 21 straight unanswered capped by Tyreek taking a 5 yard bubble screen 75 yards TO THE HOUSE.  The Regime, I mean Lions, are on the ropes going into half time down 35-13.  DC Blinken is dazed, glassing eyed and trying to figure out what exactly Putin's, I mean Mike McDaniel's, 2nd half game plan is gonna be??  "He can't just keep punishing us with the same old rhetoric, I mean zone blocking scheme, right"  he cries in desperation to his LB's coach Loyd Austin....on the other side of the locker room OC Kamala is heard laughing as DL Coach Mayorkas attempts to diagram 2nd Half adjustments, for some reason all resulting the defensive line parting like the red sea, ginormous run gap lanes opening like it was a border with Mexico or something...."why does Kamala just laugh and continue to pretend our defensive lineman don't exist" cries Mayorkas.  "Goddammit can we get some help from the offense over here", Blinken quietly says under his breath...

You will not survive here. You are not a wolf, and this is the land of wolves now...

Miami receives the 2nd half kickoff....(year 3 begins).  Wasting no time, back to back TD's from Miami's punishing ground game take the score to 49-13.  Biden, I mean Sean Payton is reminiscing of his golden days under Coach Obama, I mean Coach Parcells.  "That was a simpler time, an easier time, man I wish I had a nice cone of vanilla soft serve right now" he says to himself while stumbling through his laminated card of media talking points, I mean play sheet.

49-13 end of 3rd quarter....Game isn't over yet but the 2008 Lions Administration knows how this ends.  Multiple games remain on the season schedule against gauntlets such as the Brady/Moss Patriots, MVP Manning led Colts and All Day AP's Vikings.  They have lost their starting QB (who was terrible to begin with), have a Punter as a back up and even the offensively challenged Steelers, next up on the schedule, feature DPOY candidate James Harrison ready to rec havoc on this beaten down and battered Administration, team I mean.

The trade deadline has now passed, there is no more hope for any savior to come bring this team back to even .500, much less playoff contention.  They are cooked, and they know it.  As those 4th quarter seconds tick down things only get worse....multiple front wars, inflation, sovereign debt crisis, etc. aka....embarrassment to their fans and a disappointment to their community.  With 8:01 left in the 4th Achane takes one last run 67 yards to the hizzie, sealing the game at 70-20.  The Admin was able to get a handful of charges pressed against chief political rival DJT (Mimms 97 yard kickoff return for TD) but it was way too little, too late.  The damage had been done, game over for what is still considered one of the worst football teams in history to take the field.

Trump wants to create nazi style internment camps for all those desperate immigrants trying to escape persecution, rapes, and death in their home countries and also for all political opponents (including both republican and democrats) who dared to speak out against him for anything.  That's all part of the fascist playbook. Worse part is the silence from the right about that plan is absolutely deafening

For years, republicans continue to hysterically paint illegal immigrants as a threat to national security.  But changing demographics is no reason to panic.  Pew research found that illegal immigrant population peaked in 2007 and has been declining to 10.5 million in 2021.  Overall, legal immigration increased while illegal immigration decreased.  Gallup poll found 68% of Americans say immigration is good for the country today.

trump has suggested as much and no doubt it's on his wish list.

But MAGAs don't care, as long as they regain POWER!  Shades of 1930's NAZI Germany.

Yes, but the problem is, for MAGAs, that there's no difference between illiegal immigrants and LEGAL immigrants, if they are not white....

This deserves an encore performance, a repeat performance for all to relive.  Lol.

    Simply brilliant.

To continue the football analogy,  it looks like some of us ( Republicans) are keeping score of the game through 3 quarters.  The other side simply says " we are 3 quarters through a 4 quarter game. "

You can't expect to be a good handicapper if you're not keeping score of the game. Lol...

Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama signaled that he is backing off of his hold on all top military nominees – as soon as next week – and will instead be focusing his blockade on a smaller number of nominees he characterized as “woke.”

The move comes after bipartisan pressure to cease his blanket hold on military promotions over a Pentagon abortion policy, which started in March and delayed the confirmations of more than 300 top military nominees.

Tuberville said he will not be lifting his hold on every nominee.

If this is true then the handful of military nominees remaining can still be reviewed and voted in individually as I understand it and this can be accomplished in a relatively short period of time.

Trump’s GOP and the Democratic Party differences?

The biggest significant difference is this:

If the Democrats put up for their presidential nominee the actual real incarnation of the human son of God, JC, to oppose trump-dictatorial/fascism/corruption -- the GOP side wouldn't lose a single vote...

I think the GOP would lose one vote for sure because Trump can't vote for himself from prison.an_roll_laugh

Romney says Trump supporters are out of touch with reality and would believe anything he says.  His cult is brainwashed to see him as avenging victim who can do no wrong.  Iowa poll shows they still believe in his big lie about stolen election despite no proof.  They ignore his 50 years history of sexual assault, tax evasion, money laundering, non-payment of employees and defrauding of customers.   DeSantis warns that Trump would lose in November if he is GOP nominee for president because the election would be mostly about his many legal issues.
