@BigGame90
I keep saying the same thing, it is impossible to isolate when you are part of a global economy with all countries working together and needing different things from each other. Oil independence is a political fake term that is used to anger certain conservative people who are not intelligent enough to know they are being played. It does not matter if you produce a MULTIPLE of your oil need, the pricing still is controlled by the global market, so dump that moron catch phrase your pal uses, there is no way you can isolate a global commodity it has zero chance of working because we function in a worldwide market with supply and demand cohesively flowing, it is really a stupid phrase that makes me wonder if people will believe anything they hear from a political moron.
The point I keep making is the more you listen to paid clowns with an agenda the more you lose your intelligence and that goes on both sides. Biden is not very smart, Trump is for sure not very smart but the machine under them knows that stupid lazy citizens will lap up whatever they are told and that politicians can divide the population and USE them to get elected...they can lie, shade, cheat, defraud, insult, abuse and idiots will still follow and want to follow.
This oil spike will wear off it is not long term but it is for sure being used as a tool by politicians and this very thread shows it works. I keep saying the same thing over and over and over and yet you seem completely unable to understand the basic concept of global economies and how pricing is not determined or controlled when you are part of a fluid global economy. I am 100% positive you had zero idea about the nuances of Keystone yet you yapped on about it being the reason for our woes and blaming Biden for shutting it down...it has ZERO to do with the issue and as a citizen of this country nobody should be in favor of a separate country using your soil and allowing a disgusting toxic sour to be run through your country so some refinery in Texas can profit off the sludge and then ship it to China, no you are told by a politician that this is why you are paying more for gas and Biden is to blame...its so stupid it makes me sick.
The reason for the move is speculation and a reduction in exploration due to the PREVIOUS decline in oil and the loss of many fringe producers and MANY big players, these decisions made in 2020 have ripples going for another 3 years...R&D plans cancelled in 2020 will reverberate for several more years and more exploration plans in 2022 will take several years to bear results and that will create excess supply in the future and prices will likely decline then.
Not sure why I even try to educate, people would rather watch a tv clip or read a biased blog and slurp up idiot words than understand the truth.
