For example, few people realize that President John Tyler, born in 1790, has a grandson that is alive today.

There were a lot I disagreed with him on.  That is toward the top.

On a side note, if you have never been to the Panama Canal -- it is well worth it.  A true engineering feat.

Better is to actually take a trip through it.  If you ever visit the area, it is nice to say that you have done it.

Fertile...for sure.  But longevity also.  The grandson has to be close to 100 by now.  I assume he is still alive.

Wow.  Did not recall the ages.  I figured both had to have been in 70s or even 80s.  63 seems kind of young.

His older brother just died 4 years ago. He was 95. Good genes. They had another brother that died in infancy. Maybe they inherited some of his life force. Maybe the Tylers are like Highlander.

I hope i'm still shooting live ammo at 70!

Wow.  Did not remember another brother also.

They say my g-g-father outlived 2 wives and was on his 3rd wife and had a kid in his 80s.  

Maybe back then guys kept firing.
