Sergey Lavrov, during an English-language interview on RT, says that "only Fox News is trying to represent some alternative points of view" while calling the rest of the US press propaganda because "there is no such thing as an independent Western media."
Sounds like the same Russian propaganda/talking points spewed in this forum.

In a lot of respects Lavrov is right, except my belief is he is trying to further divide our country rather than speak the truth.
And what is that truth? For one we have a vaccine where, as of January, based on Minnesota data, you are only 1.2 times more likely to catch covid if unvaccinated and 1.3 times more likely to die or be hospitalized, yet peaceful protesters in Canada not wanting the vaccine are behind bars and face life in prison. How is this no different than Russia???
A person belongings to one political party sits in solitary confinement without bail for walking into an already open congress and an assassin trying to execute a Jewish politician is out on immediate bail, and he belongs to the other political party. How is this no different than Russia? The WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING AND ASKING THE SAME QUESTIONS!!-

Twin cities pioneer press report that for age adjusted rates, unvaccinated people are 11 times more likely to be hospitalized and 20 times more likely to die from covid according to Minnesota health department graph.
In US and Canada, peaceful protests are legal but occupations are illegal. Although Ontario police has charged 120 people with 393 offenses, most of them are allowed to go home. After days in prison, several organizers have been released on bail but a few has been denied release. If convicted of mischief, 2 years is probable. No protester has been sentenced to life in prison. However in Russia, a new law threatens up to 15 years in prison for spreading information about Ukraine invasion that government deems false.

Vladimir Putin's forces have been brutally killing Ukrainian civilians, many of them are children, women and elderly citizens. On the other hand, there are many kind Samaritans in this world trying to help these needy Ukrainian refugees.

Although governments have cancelled emergency declarations, Ontario court has extended freeze on donated funds as a $300 million class action lawsuit against protesters continue. Organizers have been denied release on bail. Police put them in jail on mischief charges for endangering or interfering with the rights of Ottawa residents. Maximum sentence is life imprisonment.

Alternative points of view, with "alternative facts"
Lavrov is a pawn broker for Russian propaganda supporting the illegal invasion of Ukraine.

The former guy was asked by Fox "What should we do about Ukraine?" This was what he said....
"Well what I would do, we would, we have tremendous military capability and without planes, to be honest with you, without 44 year old jets, what we can do is enormous, and we should be doing it, and we should be helping them to survive, and they're doing a tremendous job."
WTF???? Pure gibberish! What a fucking moron!

He is doing his best not to interfere, am sure there is plenty he would like to say, not his place.
Meanwhile Zelensky bans 11 opposition political parties and nationalizes the media. A dictator is born!
Owner of Ukraine field hospital says Russian soldiers are cockroaches and he has directed his staff to castrate any captured Russian soldiers. Democracy in action!

And if prices go down by some miracle Biden will take credit, if they go up more it's Putin's fault. If Zelensky and Putin make an agreement, Biden will take credit. If the war gets worse it's all the Russian sympathizers in the US's fault. Trumps fault too.
And WHATEVER Trump actually says it'll get twisted.

Russia has threaten to severe the diplomatic lie with U.S. in that Pres. Biden has called Vladimir Putin a wall criminal, here is the reply from Ned Price, spokesman of the US Department of the State:
“It’s awfully rich to hear a country (Russia) speak about ‘inappropriate comments’ when that same country is engaged in mass slaughter, including strikes and attacks that have resulted in civilian lives [lost], strikes and attacks, barrages that have levelled civilian cities, an invasion of 100,000 plus forces against a largely civilian population,” Price said.

@UNIMAN Hey, I directly quoted his response on Ukraine which was absolute gibberish. You can defend him all you want but facts are stubborn things to alter.

"I believe that we are probably about 10 days away from Russia culminating. In other words, running out of time, running out of people, and running out of ammunition." — General Ben Hodges on 3.14.22

19 years ago today the US bombed Bagdad. 1 million Iraqis dead. A war started with lies. No war crimes tribunal. Bush was laying flowers today in a Church for the victims in Ukraine demanding war criminals to be punished.

Biden is right of course.
And so are the approximately 140 + UN nations condemning Putin's illegal invasion

Biden also said Iraq has WMD’s and as a senior US Senator gathered Democrat support for the invasion of Iraq. An invasion that killed 1,000,000 Iraqis.
Biden was an early supporter of sending people to Guantanamo as well as denying some of them prisoner-of-war status.
Biden praised the war in Libya. Turning a high performing African country into a failed state.
Biden supported the rebels against Assad in Syria. Creating the worst humanitarian crisis since WW2.
Biden pushed US policies that helped incubate both the rise of Al Qaeda as well as the eventual US invasion and occupation of Afghanistan. In 1981, he voted in favor of opening the spigot of US aid to Pakistan to use in supporting insurgents fighting the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. When Clinton conducted the first US airstrike in Afghanistan in 1998, in what was a precursor to the policies of the war on terror, Biden supported it.
Is Biden a war criminal?
Yes or no.

It's not what you hear, it's what you WANT to hear!!! For many they WANT to hear an f'up or gibberish. They hear it.
WE DONT NEED TO SEND 44 YEAR OLD MIGS WE HAVE MUCH BETTER EQUIPMENT THEY COULD USE.
WHAT WE CAN DO IS ENORMOUS AND WE SHOULD BE DOING IT (AGREEING WE SHOULD HELP, WE HAVE THE ABILITY)
AND WE SHOULD BE HELPING THEM TO SURVIVE ( HE AGREES WE SHOULD BE INVOLVED SENDING THEM HELP SO THEY CAN FIGHT THE RUSSIANS)
and they're doing a tremendous job. ( THE UKRAINE'S ARE FIGHTING HARD)
Not gibberish to me. What did you expect? A complete game plan? Maybe an attack on our current leadership? Maybe he should have said give Ukraine to Putin, now that would make you happy! More fodder!! No, he said we should continue to help the Ukraines and they are fighting hard! He basically agreed to everything done so far!

“running out of ammunition” People actually believe Russia is running out of ammunition.
They are shooting at innocent civilians rather than at Ukraine military while running out of ammunition. Got it!
This whole "special military operation" appears to have gone real sour for Putin. And I say appears. Does look like he expected little resistance and is now backed into a corner. This can end in three ways, IMO.
1. Putin succeeds and defeats Ukraine creating years of bitter cold war era responses/iron curtain, etc.
2. Putin is pushed so far he attacks the West, maybe with help from China.
3. Putin is taken out and another dictator takes over Russia, maybe better, maybe even worse.
I see no agreement to end this now. Even if Zelensky caves to most of Putin's demands the West would want punishment, war crimes, reparations, etc. Putin cannot turn back now.
Very sad.
