@Raiders22 Jimah Carter Every time I hear his name ..I think how insane it was for him to to give away the Panama Canal..He agreed to the transfer it in return for nothing... Upwards of 22,000 people died building the Panama Canal... 350 of them were Americans,,, Many would call the worst treaties a U.S. president ever signed.
That shit is in Panama, bro. What should we have gotten in return?

It just seems unrealistic.

@StumpTownStu For some weird reason that stuff amazes me. We have a hard time grasping how 'recent' history really can be. For example, few people realize that President John Tyler, born in 1790, has a grandson that is alive today.
I've heard the Tyler thing. Those Tyler boys must be fertile stock.
Edit: John Tyler popped one out at 63. That kid popped one out at 75!! So, yeah, total studs.

There were a lot I disagreed with him on. That is toward the top.
On a side note, if you have never been to the Panama Canal -- it is well worth it. A true engineering feat.
Better is to actually take a trip through it. If you ever visit the area, it is nice to say that you have done it.

Fertile...for sure. But longevity also. The grandson has to be close to 100 by now. I assume he is still alive.

Correct mistyped.
But time is still correct. Otherwise, would be a year closer, even.

Wow. Did not recall the ages. I figured both had to have been in 70s or even 80s. 63 seems kind of young.

His older brother just died 4 years ago. He was 95. Good genes. They had another brother that died in infancy. Maybe they inherited some of his life force. Maybe the Tylers are like Highlander.
I hope i'm still shooting live ammo at 70!

Environmental factors are killing testosterone. Microplastics, etc. Also sedentary lifestyle.

That shit is in Panama, bro. What should we have gotten in return?
Cost to the United States – $352 Million (1914 dollars) or $7.5 Billion (2007 dollars)
Panama could have given the US a portion of the revenues until we were paid back our investment..
