Before Trump taking over power in Jan. 20, the Biden administration will send total of $5.9 billion aid to Ukraine, $2.5 billion in security assistance and $3.4 billion in financial aid*. That's the most part Pres. Biden could help Ukraine just days before the closing of his term in the White House. *https://www.reuters.com/world/biden-announces-25-billion-fresh-military-aid-ukraine-2024-12-30/ Trump got his support from majority of American voters in November, we will see how his governing pans out pretty soon. 2026 midterm election is coming up no more than one year and eleven months.
@Europa
That might be the end of it too
...and eventually a fullfledged invasion of Ukraine, to kickoff WW3...

Russia will never accept Ukraine in NATO. It was the straw that started this conflict in the first place.
True that this is what got the party started but Russia accomplished a long time ago what it set out for and has been patiently sitting on their hands. They have control of the Black Sea ports from the South and have effectively created a new land "buffer" zone between Russia and Ukraine with its new territory gained along the Eastern Ukrainian border. These won't be the only concessions Russia gets if they accept a deal involving NATO membership.
