Thimerosal is a funny topic. Blamed for most of vaccines injury patterns it has been largely removed from almost all vaccines given today. I know of no vaccines that still contain it although I am sure there are a few. The thimerosal autism link has never been proven and even the most ardent supporters and the initial person who theorized the link have since changed their tune.
The flu vaccine has failed in many scientific studies to prove effectiveness over placebo. The problem with the flu vaccine is the flu virus is constantly changing and morphing. There is no prediction of which form of flu will be around this year. The idea to catch one of the thousands of different strains each year with a vaccine that contains 5 strains or so is simple folly.

Note that since the initial Lancet article came out questioning the effectiveness of the flu vaccine in the elderly (2007) There have been many articles proclaiming that it is effective. Meanwhile, the makers of the flu vaccines have doubled the dose of the antigen for those over 65, knowing it probably does not do shitt for this category of people.
My office gives out 500 vaccines a year at a profit of 15K, just some food for thought.

thank you Good dr. for at least bringing this back this thread to reality.... the over vaccinations of the masses resulted by the profit margins by big pharma.... as I understand the intent of this post I am sure big pharma stock holder hatch will chime in

Infowars is untrustworthy and promotes conspiracy theories unsupported by evidence. Misleading to blame vaccination because other causes of death are more probable. Association isn't causation. Besides, deaths among senior residents are common in nursing homes. Fact is they are more likely to die without vaccination. Vaccines save many lives but anti-vax movement is dangerous.

Doctor Fauci says a 1% mortality rate means coronavirus is 10 times more deadly than the flu. If spread unchecked to 330 million Americans, millions would die. Even with restrictions such as lockdowns, over 300,000 covid deaths in the US. Vaccines would substantially reduce virus spread and save lives. Since vaccination of population takes months, people still need to continue social distancing and mask wearing. Historically, current pandemic is recognized as among the worst in decades.

As a person who, admittedly but not ashamedly, lacks "formal" education, I would like to submit the following.
A vaccine introduces to the constitution a trace element of the target strain intended to be combated.
As we all know, the immune system hence builds up a tolerance thereby strengthening the organism to the debilitating effects of the noxious agent.
But are we to accept the introduction of covid--albeit I suppose a minimal amount--to our physical systems in the hope of quote "building up the immune system?"
I have some friends who say (as the Italians would say) fugettaboutit.
A recent flu shot left me feeling "a little under the weather" the next day, but its effects attenuated shortly thereafter.
My guess is that half the population will accept this "shaky" premise and delve in whereas the other half will reject it.
Are we nearing a "1984" world where the freedom to choose on such a matter will be stripped from us; under the false premise of science and "the benefit of humanity?"
Will any recalcitrants be imprisoned or be labeled a "Trump Supporter" or the general denigrating term a "racist."
Perhaps, as the saying from an old radio show from a more innocent time might convey: "Only the shadow knows."

5 died in Norway maine from "side " effects of pfizer vaccine. They were in the same nursing home facility.
Gross incompetence in administering the vaccine after it was too warm for too long. Who gives a shat. They in nursing home anyway.
