"He winked and smiled and said, `Gee, I want to help you but, of course I can't—not until we've finished our work and the president approves it.'" Said Senator John Tower, vice chair of the committee, "We were very skillfully finessed."

Rockefeller was not only rich but a well connected politician that stretched back to Franklin Roosevelt's presidency. He was labeled a liberal republican from New York.

 Thanks much more than I remember but I do remember when Bush Sr was Head of CIA there were quite a bit of finger pointing on there behavior pertaining to Americans, they also tried to get info out of him when he ran for President about his time at CIA.He did not answer and like all before him he lied to us,lol.
