    @BWS77

Now the old he's "unhinged" finger pointing. an_roll_laughFlying off the handle. Nevermind those with 36pt font with red ink. an_roll_laugh

Bottom line and on subject, Vance did not wait 10 days to respond to shotty cleanup and resident concerns.

    Nice try.

Here is a juicy one.... I will also post this in the anti-Trump economic thread since I am getting accused of being a MAGA and loving Trump's swim suit, even though I have 4 years of post history in this shitholecesspool subforum saying otherwise but I digress.....

Here is a nice breakdown of possible economic conditions we see over the next 4 years:

For all those who believe that globalism & 40 yrs of free trade exported US jobs & inflation, the reverse will take more than one Trump term to unwind, at least safely. Hillbilly Effigy policies may make for good campaigning rhetoric, but they are far more complicated to put in place without major blowback.

I agree Trump - JD will use the USD as a weapon against trading partners. I believe he will brow-beat the Fed into forcing yields lower despite UST not compensating for the risk of holding longer-term notes/bonds against the entrenched/growing inflation US will experience under these policies.

But they will do NOTHING to address the core problem that our own politicians have stolen more from Americans than we have given away to China in bad policies.

The result: Americans are less smart & more lazy, not to mention deeply indebted & diseased, to absorb the US reshoring jobs that Covid started and Trump wants to take credit for. Especially without immigration to take up the slack.

    Considerations for Earnings Expectations:

Corporate Profit Margins: Productivity NEEDS to outpace higher costs + wages, while consumer spending outpaces/absorbs these higher prices. Voters won't think about this, nor with Trump, let alone the CAPEX needed that will come at the cost of stock buybacks.

Economic Growth: Trade tariffs drag down growth; so does govt crowding out. Corp/household refinancing & funding costs, already strained, will grow with "self-financing" until credit demand falls forcing labor to be shed. That's the cycle we are in even without a trade war with China.

Anti-Trust Focus: Trump berated the monopoly powers of AMZN, AAPL, GOOGL, MSFT his 1st term, but no break-ups or changes occurred. Will this time be different? If he wants to be the champion of small businesses, then the concentration risk of MAG7 will be his target. In a nutshell: "Net Net" we very likely see higher inflation, slower economic growth, higher unemployment, continued grift, not to mention tax cuts for wealthy driving more inequality & distrust.

A USD devaluation with falling UST will only spur a currency crisis. This is not 2016 Monetary Dominance. This is 2024 Fiscal Dominance. And it will make all the difference.

I heard JD isn't going to debate Kamala.....

Media:  "JD is scared to debate the great orator that is Kamala"

    Campaign Statement response:

"Scheduling a vice-presidential debate right now would be unfair to California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer – “or whoever Kamala Harris picks as her running mate.”

    JD funded by Peter Thiel.

    Peter Thiel founded Planatir.

CIA first to fund Planatir.  CIA only Planatir client up until 2008.

One CIA official involved in guiding Palantir's early years, Alan Wade.

Wade is a former business partner of Ghislaine Maxwell's sister Christine in the company Chiliad.

Vance is the most inexperienced vice president candidate in 90 years.  He has accomplished nothing significant in government.  If Trump is elected and something happens to him, risk of Vance becoming the most unqualified ever to become president.  He lacks the knowledge, wisdom and supporting team for complex decision making which is the most important job requirement.  Historians are right to rank Trump as the worst in executive appointments.  Republican national convention lack endorsements of Trump from former members of his chaotic administration.

Sounds just like the current VP chosen by the DNC to pair with Jeo Biden.... he should fit in just right under the current prerequisites peace_5

Something I don't totally disagree on...not sure why he picked JD...with Kamala being chosen and now JD it's as if no one cares about who takes the VP position...Kamala definitely not qualified and JD a first/year political term to now getting the nod as VP....I don't get it....is this how useless our VP position really is????

With the fact that someone has already tried to assassinate Trump and he is just running for presidency, it is entirely possible that there are other radicals out there that want to take him out and he hasn't even taken office...damn, there are probably people in this forum that would like to take Trump out based on the constant hate the spills over in here...but this should really be considered....Trump most likely picked JD because he figured he could control him...how much does Trump even know about JD? We know Joe knew very little of Kamala but she fit the mold he was trying to create, but Pelosi knew Kamala quite well being that they are from the same state....

My point is, it seems we are making a mockery of these political selections nowadays....people are nowhere near qualified and yet this is being allowed....seems very diluted this process...

Harris is clearly qualified to be president.  Before chosen vice president by the 17th best president in US history, she was California attorney general and congress senator in judicial, intelligence and homeland security committees.  Her qualifications compare well to other vice presidents.  For examples, Quayle, Gore and Cheney.  Furthermore, she has the advantage of years of experience in preparing for the job of president.  Unlike Trump the worst president in US history.

Yea, not sure how many would agree with you on Harris if you live out in California and saw what she did out out here in our state...I don't like her for the job, even as VP....the position of VP was forced...those of you outside of California can have a different opinion but you are not as privy to the matters of the state as they happened....sure, you can research it, but you didn't live thrugh it or here about in your local news....

I have said this before, this is why I am not shut off to others who have state or local knowledge/opinions of individuals as they come into the political spotlight....I said this about JD with BWS since he is from Ohio where JD is from...I know nothing about JD, other than Jack Daniels is my go to drink, so I would defer to others who may know about him...yes, I can google but is that really going to give me insight on someone that is wet behind the political ear...even Trump was wet due to the fact he was not a politician, and I'm still not sure if we would be better off with a nonpolitician or go back to the same ho hum....they all lie a lot so that is an issue for me, but who is JD? Seems like a bad choice to me so far...as with Kamala, don't like her based on what her portfolio is her is Cali....same goes for Newsom....can't stand the bloke....being close to it in your own state really muddies the waters....almost ruins it...

    Here's something about Vance.

The architect of Project 2025, Kevin Roberts, has a new book coming out in September about taking over Washington. Vance wrote the foreword for the book.

Meanwhile the POS knows nothing about Project 2025.

    What a lying prick!

Consider the sources for these "bad things" you're hearing. They think Dementia Joe was one of the best Prez's ever, & that Harris is qualified to be one. an_wink

Yeah, my go to mixing whiskey is Jamo or Tully. The irish Whiskeys taste so good with coke or ginger. Or coke AND Ginger if Ginger has a bag with her.
