He meets with a Russian lawyer unconnected to the Russian government with a come on that she has dirt on Clinton.

Let's turn the tables. A French lawyer calls the Clinton Campaign with dirt on Trump - do you think they attend the meeting?

Then nothing even comes of it, she's got nothing.

The whole point is the Russians did not hack into our very, very precious Democracy. How many times have you heard that line from political hacks like Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi? Seth Rich, young Democratic insider sent/leaked the 30,000 or so DNC  e-mails to Julian Assange. John Podesta basically was proven to be a pedophile from what was inside his e-mails leaked to wiki leaks. Podesta was only going to be someone very important inside of Clinton's administration. Look what happened. The powers that be eliminated/Scaliad Seth Rich! The MSM never talks about the hit job on Seth Rich. They never talk about the stand down of the investigation into the murder of Seth Rich by the DC police department. They 'only' have the non stop, relentless Russian collusion to hang their fake news hats on. Absolute head shaker. Signing off from the Right! sd

Because it isnt about Obama. Had this been during the last eight years there would be a very long and angry thread about it, and several cut and paste garbage posts as well.

I do not doubt Russia was involved in our elections, the fact that Donny came forward only happened because the Trump camp knew it would be worse if he didnt.

I dont get the right side trying to act as if Trump isnt as slick and slimy to stoop to such levels...he is and he did.

Trump has a long long history of questionable and deplorable decision making, this is not a surprise to me one bit.

I am not sure anything will come from this Russia hunt, the same reason why I dont think most business cheating is caught...the money, the technology and speed that the cheaters hold is far greater than the meager resources our slow, underpaid and under-equipped government does.

There is no legitimate proof wallstreet. The 'only' proof could be fabricated by 1 of our intelligence agencies. Who would know the difference? The only collusion with the Russians was done by Podesta and HRC. The never ending fake news story relentlessly perpetrated by the state run media.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras [a Moscow-based developer who tried to partner with Trump in a hotel project] this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary [Clinton] and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.


This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr Trump – helped along by Aras and Emin.

What do you think is the best way to handle this information and would you be able to speak to Emin about it directly?

I can also send this info to your father via Rhona [presumably Rhona Graff, Trump’s longtime executive assistant], but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to send to you first.

I already covered that base in my initial reply..

The search is not fast or advanced enough to catch any wrongdoing, thats why the only time anything is uncovered it seems is from insider whistleblowers. 

The government is miles behind, understaffed and skilled to stand a chance.

has been a lawyer for the Katsyv family, whose patriarch, Pyotr D. Katsyv, was minister of transportation of the Moscow region for more than a decade, and whose son was caught up in the New York money laundering case.

Dmitri S. Peskov, the spokesman for President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia, told reporters that the Kremlin had never heard of her.  

The family’s trust in Ms. Veselnitskaya was rewarded in May, when she helped Denis P. Katsyv, Petr’s son, fight the money laundering claims in New York brought by the Manhattan federal prosecutor at the time, Preet Bharara. Mr. Bharara tangled with Ms. Veselnitskaya several times and protested at one point that she had been charging the government for a $995-a-night room at the Plaza Hotel.

The case was settled two months after Mr. Bharara was dismissed by President Trump.

Last year, she flew to New York to represent Denis Katsyv, a Russian client and family friend, according to the Financial Times. Katsyv owns the investment firm Prevezon Holdings, which allegedly helped launder money linked to the $230 million tax fraud exposed by Russian account Sergei Magnitsky, The New York Times reported. The Russian whistleblower died in a Moscow prison in 2009 after being arrested and charged by some of the very officials he accused of malfeasance.

Why did the US government cover her expenses? I don't get it

You're beyond reason.  Russian meddling/hacking is fact.  Most sane republicans understand this but try and deflect.  You however ... remind me of my 5 year old nephew that just can't be  reasoned with ... you'll fall on that Trump sword no matter what he does.

Sergei Magnitsky, a legal adviser for Hermitage, was tortured and died in a Russian prison in 2009 after exposing the fraud to Russian authorities. 
The official death certificate stated "closed cerebral cranial injury" as the cause of death (in addition to the other conditions mentioned above) and the post-mortem examination showed numerous bruises and wounds on legs and hands

The Magnitsky Act (of 2012, is a bipartisan bill passed by the U.S. Congress and signed by President Obama in November–December 2012,) — gave officials the power to withhold visas and freeze assets belonging to Russian officials accused of human rights abuses — was apparently the reason Veselnitskaya wanted to meet with the Trump team after tantalizing them with the Clinton offer.
