Unless I hear differently from doggybag, we had one player qualify for free play this season, leaving a $7800 prize pool for 79 players. Here's how it breaks down:
$100 prize to 17 regular-season weekly winners for best unit total.
There will be two bonus weeks: Halloween (week 9) and Thanksgiving (week 13) will be worth an additional $100 to whoever has the best unit total.
Tiebreaking rollovers will still apply to these bonus holiday weeks and will be available to all players.
$100 prize for the first player to reach 100 wins on the season. If nobody reaches 100 wins, the money will go to a 6th Place prize.
$200 prize for the best unit total on the postseason. Postseason play is optional, but for those who do pick games I will treat postseason results as a stand-alone contest. In the event of a tie, the tied player with the best winning percentage for the entire season will take the money. I will post a Top 10 leaderboard on the forum following each weeks playoff action.
$100 prize for last place. Failing to make a pick during any week of the regular season will disqualify you from winning this prize. There will be a forum thread detailing each instance of this happening throughout the season.
$3000 First Place
$1500 Second Place
$500 Third Place
$300 Fourth Place
$200 Fifth Place
$100 Sixth Place (if nobody hits the 100 wins prize)
