The falcons are a different team on the road, but the falcons are hot.  I'm liking the over in this one and leaning cards.  Early prediction:

Cards 31 Falcons 27

Over is probably a good bet here. I think the Falcons will win because they have a much more balanced attack. The Cards rely exclusively on the pass, and if Abraham can get any pressure they should stop enough drives to win. Cards DBs are horrible, meaning Roddy White will get loose a few times, to supplement the always strong running of Turner.

Kurt Warner won't be able to win this game by himself.  He needs a running game. 

Ryan has looked a little shaky the last two weeks but has still shown the ability to make big plays.  The Falcons don't figure to have a problem controlling the clock in this game. 

Falcons ability to run the ball gives them the edge in this game.

Ken Whisenhunt and the Cards have a really good home record.  I have to give the edge to Arizona, they're just different at home.

you guys are picking a team that basically limped into the playoffs based on a technicality against a team that won 11 games?   that's 11 games people.  a difference of 2 games may not mean alot....but that's 11 games.  Plus ATL has a ground game.  Arizona has looked pretty mediocre it's last few games. I'm not even sure they are better than Dallas.....and I mean that.

I don't think Atlanta is that hot of a team.  They barely put away the Rams and the Vikings lost 4 fumbles two weeks ago and gave the game away to the Falcons.  Plus, Edge made a cameo appearance and it has to give the Cards a little more confidence.

arizona home games have gone over in 7 of 8 this year.  the falcons should have no trouble running all over this defense, and warner will be tough to stop at home, esp vs a bad pass defense (atl ranked 22nd vs the pass)  tough call on the side, as seeing a home dog (one thats been good ats at home all year) can be enticing - but the falcons are a much more *playoff* type team.  for now, i'm just going high/large.

Averages for Cards at home and Falcons away:

Cards scoring 30 to 22 all games, Last 3 27 to 22,ATS 5 / 3

Falcons  19 to 20 all, Last 3 23 to 20,ATS 4 / 4

The 4 times that the Falcons played the cards in Arizona they won only one.

I'll go with the home dog Cards here.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone.  I respect the opinon of those that post on here. I'm a Dieahard Dallas fan and I have to adopt a team for the postseason since my Cowboys never seem to do anything worthwhile.  I'm attending a candlelight vigil for the Dallas Cowboys 2008 SB dreams.  It is tommorrow at   9 pm EST.
 
 
Feel free to attend.  It's outside of Dallas stadium.  not the new one.

why not a 3 play tease here?game should be a close game probably by a feild goal so take both teams getting the points on the ten point swing and lower the over under and take the over 42;may have that by halftime

Well I like Atlanta...
 
AZ cannot stop anybody.... and they have no run game...
 
I see a heavy dosage of Michael Turner...
 
they can have a shootout without Matt Ryan making crazy throws.... this defense is really terrible...
 
ATL has a good D-Line... they will be pressuring Warner and taking away the crossing routes with pressure up the middle....
 
AZ hasn't convinced me they are a playoff team....
 
they made Seneca Wallace look like an NFL starter....
 
ATL makes it passed the first round...

Falcons will destroy this undeserved team by atleast 2 TDs. They have no business being in the playoffs. All they have are 2 great WRs. No defense, no run game. Warner aint even that good he is ok at best. Dan Orlovsky could look good with 2 great WRs.

Dirty Birds get the worm. Card are all fluff. Kurt can no doubt sling it around with the best of them but he will throw it away more than Matt and Atlanta is driven this year to be a miracle comback story and I think it comes true one more game.No time for the faint of heart time to up the anti.10units.

A rookie QB traveling cross country to play a warm weather game with a defense that couldn't stop the RAMS at home last week.  Cardinals get one win before bowing out next week.  Bank it.

60% on the public is on atlanta your right that makes my pick for me......The spread started at -3 but vegas wants to make some more money so they made it -1 so all the suckers can take atlanta

The Cards don't need a running game, because the Falcons can't stop the pass - (they're ranked 22nd out of 32 teams). Plus - Ryan may be O.K., but he's still a rookie. I'd take "Krazy Kurt" over him anyday. If this game was in Atlanta, I might be leaning on the Falcons, but the Cards are a different team at home.....
