After playing brutal match ups against Seattle and San Francisco (2 of the better defenses in the league), facing this Atlanta defensive squad should be as worrisome as a cloudy day. Not to mention, facing this Atlanta running game shouldn't be too much of a challenge either (after trying to stop Frank Gore and Marshawn Lynch).
And with Atlanta playing without any of their household names at wide receiver, Arizona will be able to match up Patrick Pederson on Harry Douglas. Matt Ryan will be forced to go to Tony Gonzalez one too many times, and eventually the honey badger will make a play on one.
I think this is a good spot to take the Cards.
Atlanta 17
Great analysis Sammy, but you missed the RB's on both sides of the ball:
{Mendenhall did not practice Wednesday due to a toe injury and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons.}
This means Carson to throw more - and we all know what that means, lousy defense or not.....

Just a quote:
“It's been difficult to watch. To see my teammates go out there and battle, being here seven days a week with those guys and not being able to participate and not be able to maybe be a difference-maker in a game or two, it's been very frustrating. But I have learned a lot by just actually becoming coach. Now I think I really know the details of some of the plays I probably didn't know because I was so new to the offense.”
Uh, oh......
Now, if Mendenhall's out, (or at least hobbled) and a frustrated but schooled S-Jax is in?? I'm thinking Hotlanta. And I'm gambling on all of that and gettin' in at +1, before everyone else reads this.....
Dare I say it??? I know it's gonna piss off a lot of "haters" in here, but O.K., here goes........
ATLANTA + 1 (Prime Play!!!)
As Always, Good Luck Everybody!
