carolina Sucks the big one.   There is no way in hell I would take them over Atl.  I don't even have to say why.  If I do then u don't know what you're doing.

 

Take atl -1, -3.5,  or whatever.

Atl beats mediocre teams and thats what carolina is. Did they score in 2nd half last week. I know this is normally a close Div gm but carolina has thrown in the towel already Atl still fighting for wild card  if they can ever beat a good team with winning record lost to NO, Dallas, NE and torched in playoffs by Ariz. . Atl needs to get OFFENSE going they have giants next who have bye week. Ryan showing sophmore jinx

Panthers r playing a little better, good rushing game with williams but no match for dirty birds.  Have to see how the line moves before deciding ........ Panthers @home +5 or more points would be good.

Carolina has been impressive, but i don't think they will be able to handle Atlanta. Atlanta are constantly getting better.

Atlanta -1 to -3 is good :)

     Exactly why I'm taking the Panthers - - they played decent against the high powered Saints, & beat the Cards at home - - that was their last 2 games, and they were both on the road. Looks like they're starting to get on track. I think "Matty Ice" melts this week.....

This game is a trap with roughly 80% of the public on Atlanta (and the line has not moved).  Carolina is looking better and Atlanta is looking worse, but I think the public is still in love with Ryan, Turner, and how they played last year.  Carolina ML is the way to go.

Carolina is coming on, Atl is a bad road team. Getting a win for a  road team in an NFC south divison game is very hard to come by.

I like Carolina as well....


not calling in the bet until I find out Deangelo Williams injury status...

that will be a huge factor to consider when betting this game....

As much as I would like to, it just looks too easy to buy in to ATL-2. Carolina has been running the ball with authority lately, and the Falcons D has been subject to giving up major yards on the ground. I have to go with the books here and take CAROLINA +2

i like ATL - the 1... just think they made such a minimal line to "make it look"  like a close carolina game @home...

in other words,  to sway perception

not convinced in last weeks carolina Loss (with 14 pt 1stQ headstart) & even the week before with that AZ forfeit WIN (even the Argonauts can beat beat u if u give them 6 turnovers with a quikpik6)

jake definitely playing a bit better better, just wondering if its a mirage?..

 (will admit that steve smith pump-fake-double-move vs AZ was awesome)

but thinkin Turner + the atl D makes the difference in this game?

Hey Philly, where did you get this info?  When I look at the two teams on cbssportsline, I'm seeing it as:

CAR Rush Off   19th
ATL  Rush Def  25th

I've always been unsure of what I'm looking at, due to different 'stats' being posted in here, so if I've got bad info, or I am interpreting it wrong, please correct me!

I see these as very even teams.  Perception is that ATL is a team to be reckoned with and CAR is CRAp, but another look will tell you different. 

Leaning CAR at home, after 2 decent road showings.
