Does anyone have any ideas why this spread is so low? ATL should mop the floor with the Vikings! I'm actually considering adding points for ATL cover so I can really get paid!

Get it now. It will only grow. Will Teddy take over and be the Minny savior? Scary low spread. Atl. with the extra rest coming off a home blow-out of TB.
ATL -3 (with caution)

How farfetched is this. Packers win, Bears lose, Lions lose and Vikings win.. and now we got a 4 way tie in the NFC North?!
Call me crazy but I think it's possible. Everyone is impressed with the Falcons offense but hardly anyone talks about the Viking defense and how it held Brees and co scoreless in his own building for two and a half quarters!
Didn't Atlanta just faced a defense that had and still has Mike Zimmer's blueprints on it and now they get to face another Mike Zimmer led defense in the Vikings.. Did Atlanta beat Cincinatti? Do Falcons do well defending versatile wideouts like Brandin Cooks, AJ Green or Cordarelle Patterson? Does Matt Ryan play well on the road? If you answered no to all three... then ..
Leaning Vikings +3... as long as Matt Ryan doesn't get suplexed
Sip on that plus money honey!

Lots of good points in this thread. The biggest one for me might be Greenway out for the Vikes. because if S-Jax is allowed to even get a sniff of daylight, and a little something going early, with this high flying offense, it's going to be a looooooong game for the Purple People Eaters.....
Plus, Vikes offense was intended to be Cassel's, a true pocket guy. Bridgewater's more of one of those read/option rushing QB's like Kapernick or Cam, and that's a whole different playbook. With just 5 days or so practice time, that offense might not be as up to speed as they should be. A missed route here, and a pick there, and you're done.....
3 points does seem oddly low, but I'm not getting that same trap vibe like I am with the Jets.
I'm buying in, gimme the "Sucker Special"
Falcons -3, Good Luck All

Don't really agree with that statement. Bridgewater is going to be a pocket quarterback. He is more mobile than Cassell, but I highly doubt you will see designed runs. Especially this coming week, maybe sometime down the road. Good point on greenway though. I am slowly falling into the trap as well. might buy it down to 2.5.

don't know what to expect when rookie QB's make their first start.. they don't have much weapons on offense now only Greg Jennings and Patterson... but I think Vikings will still play tough at home and make Matty Ice work for the victory. just can't see this game being a blow out...
Atlanta maybe wins by 4 or 6. Is Minnesota's homefield on open stadium grass? I know the Metrodome is gone now just wondering...

Minn played very well LW at one of or maybe the toughest places to play in the nfl and should have covered or possibly won S/U with a backup rookie QB and an ineffective 1 armed ML. (i had NO LY + was SOOOO lucky... TY Captain)
With a week of spoonge absorbing rookie QB reps. and a better D. vs that Falcon pourous Off. line.... Minny may surprise.

You guys are really over thinking this game. Atl defense is coming around. They got away from the 3-4 last week and went with the 4-3 which is more suited to their personnel. They have played Drew Brees, a really good Bengals team and demolished Tampa. I don't think we know what they are on D right now to say they suck. We already know about their O. Over think if you want… ATL LARGE they are the better team.

ATL coming off bye MINN missing Peterson Minn starting rook QB.
Bridgewater is and will be a great qb with more filed time but, this i think is not a good spot for hime to get a W. Ryan will have ample weapons to throw to and possibly Roddy White will join the action also today.
ATL -3.5

Heck why not... Minny plus the 4.5 for the cover and small slice of the +200 ML. You never know... 80%+ bets on the Falcons and u know how crooked Vegas can be one very one-sided bets...
The Bridgewater era begins....
