They are just starting out slow. The Pats in 07 started out killing everyone in the first half, then had some real close games in the second half. FACT: the patriots are a typical-Buffalo -fumble away from 0-2....
FACT: the pats had short rest going into last weeks match-up.... that is a factor in the game plan......
FACT: they played 2 division opponents the first two weeks... always tough to do...
FACT: Welker in the line-up against the Jets wouldve been a different game.... he adds 2-3 yards per catch more than his replacement.... anybody who doesn't admit that is in denial.... I'm not saying they would have won, but different outcome definitely....
the Patriots didn't take a bus home this weekend.... they are still running to foxborough while belicheck follows on a bike-ala-nintendopunchout... only his has a motor.... he will have this team ready and right the ship to prevent going 1-2.....

Just for fair warning....the Patriots usually win big after a disappointing loss. Don't know if that trend will hold true this year, but its something to think about.

You beat Carolina and Miami at home... slow your roll... you still have defensive issues and you havn't played the Jets or Buffalo yet so what makes you so sure that your offense is better than both teams?
