take the over 42.5 and Atl -3. hotlanta is the BEST TEAM in the NFC.....period end of story. don't agree? U are basically either a giants homer or atl hater. either way atl is in a class by themselves rite now.
I honestly can't think of a better team in the NFC. but let's give credit to a fan on here that has atl in his screen name for pointing out how great atl was earlier this year. I want to go on record now by saying ATl is good enough to to the sb now. forget that...ATL goes to the SB. sam bradford is the truth, but st. Louis homers feel free to burn ur $$$ betting on a rookie qb facing arguably one of the best qb/wr/rb trios in the entire NFL with atlanta.

I'm not here to gloat because there is still a lot of work to be done.
When the Falcons win the NFC and sustain homefield throughout the playoffs, they will be in the superbowl, and it's my personal guarantee. A team that is pinnacle in the Dome will not yield to any of these overrated NFC teams at home. Other NFC teams have synthetic defenses that can't compete against true undervalued talent like your 2010 MVP, Roddy White. Take time and learn how to commend depreciated talent so when February rolls around, you analysts will not look like babbling morons. Though he will not be awarded it, the true MVP of the 2010 NFL season so far is Roddy White.Atlanta fans, we do not expect to get recognition. We feed of the fact that no matter what, we are the underdog. And we co-exist as one to prove the doubters and sadly the haters wrong. The city of Atlanta is a depreciated sports town. I can't argue against that because of only one professional championship. We strive for a breakthrough that will one day put Atlanta sports over the top and look towards a future in hopes that it includes a city where hockey isn't look at as a derision to other fanbases. Matt Ryan and co. will change the tides. It's our time now.
To gamblers, the money should be on the Falcons.

Atlanta comes off a big win against a top AFC Ravens team, while St. Louis loses to a pitiful San Fran team and the Rams are only favoured by 3?
Hmmm...
First off: 85% of money is coming in on Atlanta and yet the line hasn't budged.
The Home team has won the last six meetings dating back to 2002 (In those six games St. Louis is 4-2 ATS).
Atlanta is 3-8 ATS in their last 11 meetings with St. Louis.
Atlanta is only 5-4 ATS this season, while St. Louis is 7-2 ATS (tied with Detroit for league best).
St. Louis is also 4-0 at Home, while Atlanta is 2-2 on the Road; the stats also don't lie as St. Louis plays better at home - both offensively and defensively - than Atlanta does on the road.
This Atlanta team is still the same one that almost lost to Cleveland on the Road, while barely inching past Cincinnati, Tampa Bay and San Francisco.
Sure, they've played well, but this has all the makings for a Cleveland/New England game two weeks ago.
Hell, Sports Interaction only has St. Louis +145 on the Money Line (In retrospect, Detroit is +235 ML, Washington is +260 ML and Denver at +405 ML).
All these stats, plus knowing Atlanta has to come back down to earth soon, have me feeling happy about taking St. Louis for a major (at least public money wise) upset this weekend. This is a mediocre NFL season - there is no sure thing, or top dynamic team this year.
St. Louis +3 Please

This game smells prime for an upset.

you're a tremendous douchebag and IF put actual cash on the failcants this year you would be down money. stay far away from this clown's opinion on the failcants, all of their fans are emotional.

I like your write-up as well Chevy....however, I feel like this is finally the week where St,Louis gets that slap in the face beat down that they are long overdue for.....you know its coming sometime and this is the week.
No offense to the people who are really into trends, but trends to me are like the displays that vegas set up on the roulette table...you know the ones that tell you how many times black has hit in the last six spins? The same counters that helped increase house winnings like 30%...that is basically the same as a trend....a non clear indicator of what is going to happen in the here and now, but makes you think it should.
fuck trends...i am in the here and now baby!!!
ATL -3

Fair enough. But the biggest stat has to do with public opinion. It was at 85% yesterday for Atlanta and the line stood still. Today's interesting as that's dropped to 78% Atlanta, but still.
This 3 points is fishy. Vegas doesn't release these lines and keep them this way to lose money. I just think this is like the NE/CLE game to be honest..

ST.Louis +3 (+100) The Rams are improved and despite having problems on the road have played tough at home. I like the Rams to SU win this one but at +100 I'll take the +3 just in case.

That being said, I'm still taking them -3 this week, along with the over. Two bad pass defenses going at it. Atlanta's offense is more consistent than STL's, however.

i am a falcons fan and would love to see them go to the superbowl this year but staying right away from them this week as they have had they're troubles away from the georgia dome , rams are young , well coached, and play tough defense at home i love the situation this week knowing they have a real shot at this division i think they really get up for this one and play there guts out knowing seattle will probly fall to the saints and cards should lose in kansas city , hate going against my team but the rams+ the points would be the play for me on sunday.

You gonna take the rookie? When Atlanta is in the middle of a playoff push and home field on the line? Let down's don't happen after week 9. Give me the dirty birds at a field goal.
