falcons coming off 3 home games.....

Teams that come off 3 home games than travel on road as favorites are 17-32 ATS

For some reason vegas know something about this game we dont?? this line should have opened at the lowest of  atlanta-6.. so saying, that this game jumps out at everybody as what a gambler calls a " trap" bet.. im not saying that the rams are a better team than atlanta by no means its just something up.. all the stats point to the falcons and the public money is near 80% yet the line still holds strong at 3...

you look at trends , but the problem is those trends are from years past , Atlanta has Rarely played this good .They are playing great Football this year , and they have one of the best winning records in the NFL.

All you gotta do is stop RB Steven Jackson ,which everyone seems to be doing this year , and you have a win. The got no defense , they barely got offense.

FALCONS -3  (HUGE) no brainer , no problem , no worries.

This is the kind of crap you find on Covers.  Rams have no defense?    I'm guessing you haven't seen a Rams game this year.  They have a solid D and NO OFFENSE.   Bradford doesn't ever try to stretch the field.

Rams cover the 3 if not an outright win..............Trust me !!!!

Atlanta is not nearly the same team on the road. This is setting up to be a bloodbath for the novice, weekend bettors who see ATL only minus three, .........wow gimme some of that. Vegas knows this.

going to the game here in a few, the 3 points is awfully suspicious. with that said the Rams play at a different level at home,but not sure if thats enough to pull an upset against rex and team, that cat is in fire and the rams are still building.

atlanta shlould cover, but would love to see a upset which is not out of the question. 

think the safest play is the over and thats what im taking 5 units.

Your logic is flawed simply because you're trying to compare college and pro football betting in terms of going with or against the public.  The difference found between Arkansas and MSU are incomparable to those between Atlanta and St. Louis.  The college teams aren't as close in overall quality when compared to the differences between Atlanta and St. Louis.

I'm not saying that line movement isn't a key factor in capping, but you can't compare pro and college, especially at this time of the year.

I'm not taking either side in this ATL/STL game.  Matt Ryan is almost unbeatable at home, but I believe his road record isn't spectacular.  I may lean to the over simply b/c both offenses can score, and score quickly.  GLTA!

Rams +3.5.... Dont be surprised if the falcons are looking ahead to their next two games (green bay and tampa bay). The line is 3.5 for a reason, can you say trap bet?    Rams win this game at home.

We're talking about the rams here...however I don't like the non movement of the line with the public hammering ATL.  If I had the stones I would take ATL -3 allllll dayyy

He's not comparing NFL with NCAAF, he's comparing where the public money is, and that since most of the money is on one team and Vegas hasn't moved the line the other side must be the right side to be on. Pro or college it don't matter
Are you saying that handicappers that bet on the Pros are better at handicapping?
I think most Pro games spreads are not big enough due to the respect they get for simply being pros, but people over think it
There are blowouts all the time, just like in college
Vegas does not know what is going to happen
The Square betting Public wins plenty, sometimes even when the "smart" money is on the other side

falcons will win this outright... maybe the linesmaker knows it will be a close game.. not doubting them, but taking the dirty birds from atl straight up... good teams usually pull away from the bad teams at this point in the season to push for the division ownership and so on..

Rams got no offense - hense 17

Rams got no defense - they allowed Thrity Freakin Four

a child of 8 could call this game , since the Falcons are just a much better team

they will win by 10+
