Houston should run it for 200 yards. So no worries about Ravens getting back in the game and getting a back door cover. This should be a good old beat down for the flailing Ravens. They suck on the road also.

I'll take the ravens since the Texans are on a spiral downfall and cannot cover! Can't see them getting out of that covering slump at home. Maybe, on the road they'll finally show up in there next game since they'll be questionable for not covering against the Jets, Packers, and now Ravens!

Nice points but Ravens couldnt cover at home against the browns. And struggled against the flailing Eagles. Their defense is not controlling the line. Ravens were dominated by the Cowgirls and shouldnt have won that game except for Dallas incompetence.

I agree with you on you're POV. However, the browns always play the ravens tough for they are divisional rivals. As for the cowgirls I just think that they were due for a good hard fought game to cover a tougher team. None the less the cowgirls are a let down team every single year with person as QB!

We have two teams trying to establish AFC credibilty.I have to go Houston on the M/L and would tease the Ravens as a double win senario.
The problem for the Ravens isn't the loss of Lewis,it's what it always is...which Flacco shows up.However,after the beat down by GB last week,the fastest way for Houston to tarnish what has been earned before that loss even more,a back to back home loss.These are the games that kill seasons slowly but surely.The Ravens putting Lewis on recall IR tells me they know they can't without him and that isn't good when you depend on a 37 tear old for play and moral.

With all of this being said the texans on MNF still can't cover against the Jets who had loss there 3 biggest key players D. Revis, S. Holmes and D. Keller. Also the Jets defense isn't all that great at all. For a balance attack from the texans the Jets still had a chance to win!

I just don't know about this one... You never know which Baltimore team is going to show up, or which Joe Flaco is going to show up. Yes, the Ravens are down Suggs and Webb and Lewis, but they also might come out fighting like an injured/cornered dog. Also, the Texans have a history of starting to let things slide away as the year moves along and they really miss Cushing and Jamison.
I just don't have a good feeling about this one... I'm staying away.

Prior to the Giants playing the 49ers last week, I seem to remember everyone talking about the "revenge factor" for the 49ers getting knocked out of the playoffs last year by the Gmen. Well, I don't seem to hear anyone talking about the revenge factor for this game. With TJ Yates at quarterback, the Texans lost a very close playoff game last year at Baltimore. I personally think revenge is an overrated attribute when trying to predict the results of a game. But I would like to talk about the last time these teams played in that playoff match.
In that game, Ladarious Webb had a monster game, coming up with 2 key interceptions. Ed Reed also had a pick to make it a total of 3 interceptions thrown by Yates. The Texans still only lost that game by a touchdown, and I would like to explain why.
Arian Foster had a field day on this defense (27 carries and 132 yards) . Andre Johnson also had a great day coming up with 111 yards on 8 catches. The Texans did this at Baltimore with a healthy Ravens defense in a playoff scenario. Joe Flacco and Ray Rice on the other hand were for the most part shut down. Flacco went 14/27 and threw for a 176 yards. Rice was kept to 60 yards rushing on 21 carries.
The Ravens won that game because they were at full strength and were able to confuse a young and inexperienced backup quarterback. The shoe will be on the other foot this time around, and the Ravens will get bullied on Sunday. Deep down the Ravens are wishing their bye was this week and not next week. They could definitely use the extra week to prepare their new starting Mike (they will have to go with one of their former undrafted rookie free agents: Ellerby, McClaine, or McClellan). We all know Webb is out as well, who is obviously one of the elite corners in the NFL.
And for those of you who don't know, Ed Reed announced on a Baltimore radio show this Wednesday that he is playing with a torn labrum. This sounds like a team that can't wait to get into the bye week, and should probably consider themselves lucky they are 5-1. They have had some really close calls against the Browns (23-16), Chiefs (9-6), and most recently Dallas (31-29). They will not have such luck on the road against a Texans team that would like to avenge their playoff loss last year, and make up for their weak effort against Green Bay last week. Not to mention, the Texans will also be heading into their bye, and they will not want to lose two consecutive games at home.
All the angles are pointing towards a comfortable win by the Texans. I have heard rumors that Terrell Suggs might play, and while that might boost morale, it wont be enough to make a difference. He played in that playoff game last year and Arian Foster still shredded them.
