Further, let's take a look how the Skins have fared against the AFC North. They lost at home 38-31 to the Bengals, and got absolutely dominated by the Steelers at Heinz field. Don't think for a second that Baltimore doesn't know that. They will soak up the film and be prepared. While their defense isn't as stout as it used to be, they still have some decent players that will have the discipline not to get gashed like the Giants did on Monday night.
I also think Flacco will be able to stretch the field on this secondary. One thing I noticed from Monday is that Eli was really close to connecting on a couple deep balls. Say what you want about Flacco, but the guy has a live arm and a great deep ball. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he put up some numbers. And of course, we can't forget about hey diddle-diddle Ray Rice up the middle.
My final point is that the Redskins aren't the only team fighting for a playoff spot. The Ravens would clinch a playoff birth with a win and the division with 2 more wins. Don't think for a second that they don't want this game too. I will take the measly 2 points and hope that Harbaugh and his resilient Ravens get the job done.

People remember the Redskins Thanksgiving and Monday night national tv games so everyone is on them. Redskins will be the parlay busters this week.

RG3 is now the new wildcat until the defense catches up and they always do. That's why any new rule changes always favor the offense.

BTW, this type of offense is what killed Army against Navy, ball, ball who has the ball?

look at the scores bmore plays on the road.very low scoring.also look at skins recent home wins low scoring.very bad weather .RAIN ALL DAY SLOPPY FIELD.PAST HISTORY SAYS THE OPTION IS TOUGH TO RUN IN THE POURING RAIN .LOVING THE UNDER HERE BIG.

Highlighting  end of season ,wear and tear was Ravens inexplicable loss @ home , gettin' Charlie Biatch slapped by most hated divisional Pburg rival.

So battered n' bruised ,in more ways than one , ready n' focused on the road ( where Ravens can blow ) vs

Two teams going in opposite directions,one certain to make playoffs having shot it's early season load while other fights for Playoff spot ,obviously showing high stride signs at top

 Shanahan's Skins have masterfully put  pieces together during DC break n' results are paying off.
True , Blues O was flagged down @ most inopportune times.
However there is little doubt that Skins D stock , FAR from perfect ,has risen considerably limiting last 3 foes to scoring Mid  T' s
Unfortunately for Balty, they are showing age and perhaps worst ,must play with severe losing indigestion being unable
 ( once again) to throw KO punch @ home vs vulnerable n' hated rivals , led by 3 rd generation string QB.
That  Hurts
Red Flag goes if Skins Can't pressure Flacco.
More than capable to pick Skins secondary apart ,
However , little Skin rattle n' off Flacco goes like a deer stuck n' phucked in DC headlights.

The following is Teddy Cover's free pick write up, which in my opinion is pretty solid. Im still leaning Baltimore, but definitely not with the same conviction that I had earlier in the week.  Good luck

Baltimore has been an extremely lucky team all year.  And 'lucky' is the appropriate word -- a 4th and 29 conversion at San Diego isn't an example of 'good offensive football'.  A win at Pittsburgh where the offense didn't score a TD isn't good offensive football either.

The Ravens didn't score a TD in their win at KC either.  Against Dallas, they gave up more than 200 rushing yards and the Cowboys held possession for more than 40 minutes,  Baltimore still won, thanks to a missed two point conversion.  Against Cleveland, it was a 63 yard interception return touchdown that provided the seven point margin of victory.  

I could go on and on, but I think you get my point.  A Ravens team that is being priced like a 9-3 contender could easily be a 4-8 bottom feeder or a 6-6 mediocre team.  And after winning SEVEN straight  competitive games in which the game was tied or they trailed in the fourth quarter, the Steelers finally knocked the Ravens back to earth last Sunday, playing with a third string QB.  Baltimore is a paper tiger, and the Redskins are primed to catch them!

Washington, on the other hand, is coming on like a freight train down the stretch, reeling off three consecutive wins and covers following their own stretch of UNlucky football when they lost five times by a single score in the first nine games of the campaign.  RG3 is essentially unstoppable these days, the most dangerous dual threat QB in the league already as a rookie.  Their defense has stepped up and RB Alfred Morris is another legitimate rookie of the year candidate.  The Redskins are the better of these two teams right now, regardless of what the records say.  Asking them to win by a FG at home seems perfectly reasonable to this bettor!  Take the 'Skins.

I don't understand the love for RG3.  He won a low-scoring game last week despite throwing for only 160 yards and one TD.  And the other TD came when RG3 FUMBLED into the end zone.  Karma is gonna catch up with this guy.

I agree, any given Sunday thing for sure!  Skins are playing good though, however the Ravens after that loss against the Steelers last week will be hungry.  Don't like the Ravens on the road but I don't see them losing 2 in a row either. Should be a interesting game to watch!

Beyond Pigskin headed angles... 
Personal analysis : RG3 is incredibly mature n' humble for one his age , loaded with talented speed smarts.
 Signs are showing ,better n' beyond a Cam Newton type who lacks humility ,partially explaining 2012 Karma Bite back Cam is going thru.
2012 RG3 Real deal indeed..2013 remains to be seen.

As far as I know, like  Redstick stated, the only "official" record on Covers is on their contest. I have maintained, an RSI in the NFL between 1/2 to 1 1/2 red stars all season long. Most people know I try very hard to put out a good handicapped selection. Actually I bet a few games each week, (only pro football), and the money I make is good enough to supplement my retirement income. Thanks to the bashing by you & others, I achieved more notoriety on these threads, than I could possibly imagine!
