Trent Green is starting. Not sure if that will help because the real problem is the Rams offensive line. Not the QB. Either way, I like the bills. Edwards playing well and Lynch will pound it.

St Louis wins this game. Aint no way the Bills are startin off 4-0 and Trent Green is gonna make sure he keeps his new starting QB job with a win here. Take em moneyline.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Marc Bulger is out as the St. Louis Rams starting quarterback after throwing only two touchdown passes in three games and will be replaced by 38-year-old Trent Green for Sunday's game against Buffalo.
The benching of the Rams' highest-paid player, announced by coach Scott Linehan in a terse, two-paragraph release on Tuesday, signals just how desperate times have become for the sagging franchise. Linehan is 11-24 in his third season, including 0-3 this year with none of the games competitive.

I love the home dog here..... bills wr parrish is out..... new quarter back.... home dog +9...... even if the Bills pull out a win they aren't the type of team to lay 9 with on the road....
I'm very suprised this line is so high....
STL +9

I'm not touching the points. But I feel confident that the Bills will win this game. Granted, it was against the Raiders, but you have to give Buffalo respect for pulling out that 'W' last Sunday.
If you watched that game, then you know what a great comeback it was for the Bills.
The Rams will win a game eventually . . . but they look good to start off the season 0-4. I'm shocked at how quick everyone is to discount all the rule changes made over the off-season. This isn't even the same game. And I suspect that a lot of it is done in consort with the gaming industry.
Perhaps 0-4 was sorta unthinkable for even the worst teams, in the old NFL. This is the "NEW" NFL. Different rules and a different game.

This line is high like it was last weekend against the Raiders so you have to figure it would be lower. IMO Vegas set it high again so that most people may think "They didn't cover 10 last weekend they certainly wont cover 10 again." Vegas could have made this game 6 or 7 but they made it high so that people would be all over St. Louis. The play here is Buffalo to bounce back and SMOKE the Rams.
Buffalo-31
St. Louis-10

I don't think that benching Marc Bulger is gonna help, in fact, it'll probably hurt. Rams got some playmakers, but their problam is the O-line. Buff's D will contain, and their O will put up points against a very weak D. Bills-9... GL to all

This is certainly a trap game for the Bills, who have never had this much hype surrounding them, and are still a very young team. Roscoe Parrish is hurt, but they have some damn good return guys to fill in. The biggest point here is that the Rams have given up. The coach is a lame duck who could very well be fired on Monday. Steven Jackson is pissed off and wants Bulger to play, the defense is non-existent. This team is just in complete disarray, and there is NO reason to take them in any situation right now.
Bills -8.5
Prediction: Buffalo 28 St. Louis 10

I was looking to pound on this one HUGE on the Bills but after Sat nothing is too easy.
Roscoe Parrish is out and he is a key factor for the rise of the Bills. His ability to give great field position on special teams for the Bills have made it much easier for Edwards to work the short field.
As for the Rams well Trent Green is behind center. Damn! just realized there are freaking 3 former starting Dolphin Qb's starting on Sun with Huard for KC, Gus for the Vikes, and now Green. GEEZ that cannot be a good thing for those teams. The Rams better protect Green or I fear his career will be in jeopardy.
Damn! now I just forgot what i was thinking about CRAP!
Anyway just thought that most of the Rams support Bulger and will be interesting to see how this pans out for the Rams on Sunday with Green behind center, but I'm pretty sure the game plan for Green will be kept simple.
Leaning on the Bills but will wait till later to decide.

As a KC fan, I recall all too well how much TGreen loves to throw to the opponent, (aka interceptions). God, I hate that guy. Anyway, if STL is in such turmoil that they are looking to this cat as their answer, I think there's gonna be a problem. No way in Hell would I put 10 cents on this team. I would like to see the o/u on picks he's gonna throw. Whatever it is, I'd take the over.

I have not listed a "BOOK IT!" play for the N.F.L. this season.
Hell, I haven't even made many N.F.L. posts this season. But this game is an opportunity you don't want to pass on.
My "BOOK IT!" plays are 3-0 this year in college. I don't say my catch phrase often, but when you see a post from me that says it you ought to pay attention.
It's not easy to play on the road in the N.F.L. and slap the home team by more than a touchdown. And you can't convince me that a team like the Rams don't have at least some pride deep down inside somewhere. There are too many veterans on their team to believe that. I am a 49er fan which means.......I absolutely hate the Rams. I love their current plight, but have to admit I'm just a smidge sympathetic. Particularly today. I don't see the Rams losing to the Bills to go 0-4. But even if they do, I really don't see them going 0-4 ATS.
This is an opportunity for Trent Green, and he is going to make the most of it. As for the Bills, look for them to be run heavy today and just try to grind out a win. 8 points is an absolute gift........I recognize it and I hope you do too. How can you expect Buffalo to go into a dome (something they aren't particularly used to) with a young squad and expect a dominating performance. I suppose if they do we can say they are for real. Until I see it............I won't believe it.
RAMS + 8 ----------> "BOOK IT!"
When I say "BOOK IT!".......you can take it to the bank!
