From Buffalo News 8/5:

"Bills coach Dick Jauron said the starters would play some in Sunday's Hall of Fame game, but is that a big surprise? This being a national television game, and Terrell Owens' debut, it wouldn't go over well in the NFL office if Jauron held starters out.

Jauron did not say how much the starters would play, saying only that the backups will get the bulk of game action. Most teams play their starters two or three series in the first preseason game, but it wouldn't be shocking to see the reconstructed offensive line get extended minutes. That is especially the case with rookie guards Eric Wood and Andy Levitre.

We expect Jauron to be more specific about playing time in the next couple of days."

the first preseason game of the year should equal a 14-10 score.... well at least most of us are hoping.

Yea I remember that playoff game back in 92, one of the greatest comebacks of all time by the Bills led by Frank Reich. I watched it on a walkman hand held tv during a biddy league girls basketball game (my daughter). bills 41 oilers 38....

I can't believe how many posts there are for this game.  I ashamed to say I read them all.

Pre-season football is like going to a strip club... you end up wasting money, getting excited for nothing, and don't really get what you wanted.

Still, I go to the strip club and I will bet on this game.
