Titans -3                 under 31.5

Yea I remember that playoff game back in 92, one of the greatest comebacks of all time by the Bills led by Frank Reich. I watched it on a walkman hand held tv during a biddy league girls basketball game (my daughter). bills 41 oilers 38....

PAYBACK TIME for that game LOL

hey col.j,almost there,countdown has started all systems go.like the under alot,but,i think tenn is gonna go a little backwards on d this year.thinking buff will be much improved on both sides over last yr.not that it really matters here,although it's hof i'm looking for buff to get one early and build from there.going BUFF/UNDER PARLAY to start.lol

I think your right on with this one, I'm putting to much stock in last years Titan performance while your looking into the future. Bills with their early pre-season ATS success will want to start off strong even in the pre-season...Thanks tcrote

Bills +3                   still under 31.5
Flip-flopping on my first pre-season pick, not a good start.
If the Bills come through here, I owe you a beer tcrote.

col.j.do you think t.o. will help/hurt?is lynch going to be out til sept?not that these bother me much early on,but, with t.o.'s history of being an asshole?thinking we'll see him alot during pre to see what he'll do.would'nt expect lynch to make much of a diff during pre anyhow.still on BUFF/UN PARLAY.

In the long run he will hurt the Bills . But TO will certainly have his moments. In this game he might catch 1 pass and exit quickly. Or he may not play at all. thankx tcrote.

I'm with you with that BUFF/UNDER....

T.O.'s skills are eroding.  He had trouble getting free off the line in Dallas and they still had to force him the ball to keep him from crying.

Well, we are almost there......the threads are up.  Still no lines.......and really, don't get carried away on playing the spreads in the preseason for real cash.  It could put you behind the 8-ball early, before the real season and capping even starts.  Play the preseason contests for play money for your fix.  If you have to get action.......look for the games that could be (U) plays.  The preseason is for testing players in game situations......not real competition.  Remember in the first two games, it's all about the backups getting time.......most starters don't play past the first quarter in the first two games.  Great time to take Unders and a few dawgs if you must.  The teams that the public loves are the ones to go against in the first two weeks.   Dallas, NE, Indy, GB, Bears and Pit to name a few.  GL to all and look forward to talking with everyone this year!!!!

I got killed in preseason last year, so I can understand the logic behind taking the underdog in Preseason...
 
But c'mon, Trent Edwards will play one series and out, and so will Collins...
 
Then you have Ramsey and Yound vs Fitzpatrick??? I guess that probably why I should take the Bills, because everyone thinks the Titans are going to win based on that premise...
 
Right now my book has the Bills +3 -125...I will wait till Sunday.

I honestly dont know who i am going to play yet.....I am leaning one a certain side but I have not finished looking into the plays.
 
Here are a couple of reasons I like each team.
 
 
Titans
 
1. Pre-Season Coaches records.....This is huge for me. Fisher is 27 - 21, Dick Juron is 12 - 20.
 
2. QB Depth......Young, Collins, Ramsey, Mortenson  > Edwards, Fitzpatrick, Hamden, Baker
 
 
 Buffalo
 
1. Marshawn Lynch.....Suspended the first 3 games of the season. Does that mean he gets more playing time in this game?
 
2. Home Field......Akron will be filled with Bills fans. Seemed to help Pittsburgh when they played this game a couple of years ago.

Titans got to much talent and there DB's should make T.O.'s 1st game not so much of a happy beginning.

In the Vegas newspaper sports section they have Titans +1 1/2 and the total at 31.

Weathered, that's a good point about the Bills fans in the stadium, Buffalo is four hours by car according to Google??   That stadium is also small.  

Also thers will likely be a good amount of Bills fans coming down to celebrate the below information from The Buffalo News  8/2:

The Pro Football Hall of Fame induction weekend Aug. 8-9 will have a Buffalo flavor as distinctive as chicken wings.

Ralph C. Wilson Jr., who has owned the Buffalo Bills for all of their 50 seasons, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Aug. 8 for his influence in shaping the National Football League as it stands today.

Bruce Smith, the team's first overall selection in the 1985 draft, will be inducted for a body of work that includes a league record 200 sacks.

Then there is the game, which kicks off the NFL preseason. The Bills will play the Tennessee Titans at 8 p.m. on Aug. 9. It will be the first of five preseason games the Bills will play in preparation for their Golden Anniversary Season.
