Atlanta at home vs. a broken Carolina team!
 
I like Atlanta -6.5.
 
Carolina will have problems on offense, namely at the quarterback spot. I'm looking for Atlanta's D to put the pressure on and force turnovers. Possibly even put a hurting on Delhomme.

Early lean for dirty birds -6.5 but Panthers just might keep this one close? They are better than they played last Sunday!

The Falcons will move the ball and score points, but will they be able to stop the Panthers running game?  Don't be fooled by last week.  Delhomme will not throw enough to make as many mistakes this week.

I'll take the points here.....classic NFL line setting.......Jake played horrible last week against a very solid secondary.......they got behind and didn't commit to the run.  Carolina will pound the average D of Atlanta and this will be a close game.  It's in division and Carolina is far better than they showed last week.  Remember their opening drive before the 5 first half turnovers and 85 yard punt return.  I'll take the points here.

I'm surprised the lines this high. Definitely give me Carolina. They can't be as bad as they were last week. I think they keep it close.

 ATL +4 turnovers last week and only 19 points at home!?! hmmm... i don't like that...
 
as posted above ^  by GT:  panthers should run the ball a lil more to limit Delhomme mistakes..

If Jake Delhomme isn't hungover
like he was in Oakland last year they may,
with luck cover. But I think he's drinking
the night before and he's no Ken Stabler.

     I respect this guy's opinion. Right on! And here are some more tidbits to sweeten the pot: The Panthers were brutilized for 45 points last season, at this site. Unfortunately for the Falcons, the Panthers cover at 100% last 2 years in revenge situations! LY the Panthers were also 100% in bounce back scenarios.After rout losses they're also 100% ATS. And finally,they're also 100% ATS after poor defensive games!! I see it as Carolina SU. However, I do appreciate the fat lay of 6.5 points!!

Falcons played a very tough Miami D last week and was still able to put up 19.  I like the Falcons to score at least 30 in this one.

After doing some research, and reading these threads, I'm going with the Panthers to cover, they may not win but they will cover IMO.
