I think the Vikings will finally win one here.. Vikigns -3.5 is the play. Hoping Gus gets the start though.

I was on Carolina +3.5 anyway... with Gus Ferrotte starting makes it all the better.  Panthers are the pick.

+4 Panthers are definitely the pick w/ Steve Smith back. I'm a Minny guy but their pass D is atrocious (Winfield basically had the ball thrown to him).

Gus is probably worse than TJack , and that's debatable i.e. i will never forget his 2 yd line fumble last year for the Rams that cost them the game - horrible!

Panthers +3.5 i'm not sure Minnesota can score much more than a couple of field goals against this cat defence.  Even if Minny is able to penetrate this cat defence and win it won't be by more than a field goal and the Panthers cover.

I think the OVER is the play here. It's pretty low because of the 2 good defenses but look at the facts. If the Bears can put up 17 on the Panthers away, the Vikes can put up 24 at home. Steve Smith will result in some scoring for the Panthers for sure. 21-17 is all we need to go over.

vikings play like dog pooh. playya was right, this is a gift from vegas, a gift when betting big on carolina especially when given points. come on smith is back, and carolina is the most underated team in NFL. yea thats right, i dare anyone to challenge me against this "vegas gift", playya should probably stick to working for a living. anyone else????? bet on carolina and then youll be saying SHOW ME THE MONEYYYY!!!

EXACTLY, I am all over Minn. Most 0-2 teams cover in week 3. Happens every year.

Carolina have won 2 close games and Minny have lost 2 close games,we all know the NFL and the way both of those games played out it could quite easily be Minny 2-0 and The Panthers 0-2 to start the season.

I'm not going to lie.. I got caught up with the media of the Vikings.  After taking the Vikes in the first two weeks, I can not do it again (but I was really close.)  The Bears and Panthers were my bounce back teams this year so my Panthers pick could be biased..

I don't think you read his post correctly my friend. GUS is horrible at center, need i remind you when Bulger was injured last year. Plus, AP was limited on Wednesday and didn't even practice yesterday because he was too sore.

The return of Steve Smith and Delhomme (who is great at center and was out most of last season) have great chemistry.

besides that, Mr. Adrian is injured meaning not 100% thats good stuff! for me because im going to take CAROLINA +3.

vikings could be at home but Carolina is on fire and they are loooking like a team.  and correct me if im wrong but isnt steve smith back?  if he is that just justifies my opinion more!

I was on Carolina.  Now im on Carolina against a backup QB.  It keeps getting better, hopefully i wake up tommorrow and the Vikings d-coordinator has been taken hostage by banditos.

just compare both teams:
 
panthers: total yards offense 302, defense 286
vikings:    total yards offense 327, defense 319
 
do not just look at the 2-0 (0-2) game stats, guys.... the vikings played at greenbay and against the colts (after their upset loss against chicago)....  they had a big chance to win in both games... they are ready to bounce back biiiiig 2morow....
 
note: i'm kinda scared about peterson, but i think he'll start 2morow :)
