The bye week will allow the Panthers to adapt for the cross-country travel so that should not affect the game much. Panthers have the no.3 scoring D vs. a horrible offense. The Raiders wont be running and Russel can't beat anyone passing.

Cross-country travel most usually hinders west flying east for 1 PM games. This is a 4:05 game, and Carolina is flying west.

Flying West means it's earlier so you're more drowsy because it would be like playing at 10 AM if it was a 1 O'clock game. I believe it hurts either way however. But you're point just reinforces my opinion that the Panthers are the play here.

They took care of business against San Diego when they travelled for the first game, don't see that being a factor here especially off a bye.

I usually hate laying this much on the Road but I just can't see Oakland Competing....
 
Even if their corners play unbelievable and shut down Smith and Muhammed.... what about the run???

im a huge panthters fan, and i hate when they lay this many on the road. you just never know when the offense is gonna be potent like it should be every week. but if i play this game. im definitely taking the PANTHERS. yea ATLANTA dragged RAIDERS but shit aint always how it should be.

I AGREE WITH EVERYONE ON HERE BUT BE CAREFUL ON THE OVER UNDER....THAT COULD BE BS AFTER LAST WEEKS SECOND HALF DEFENSE OF THE RAIDERS ...0 POINTS ALLOWED IN THE SECOND HALF.....MAYBE THE FACT THAT DAVIS HAS THEM SHAKING IN THEIR CLEATS IF THEY WILL BE GETTING AXED NEXT WILL GIVE THEM A LITTLE MORE DRIVE!!      CAROLINA 28 RAIDERS 7
