Does anyone find it odd that the spread is so high, but the O/U is so low?

I'm thinking the over is the early play here.

A Steelers beat-down. But, I am going to take the Steelers -13.5, just in case there's any last minute shenanigans going on. But, all in all, here's the visual outcome of this game - a steel diesel truck hitting a small mountain panther on the freeway.

   Don't see the Steelers letting their foot off the gas in this one! Especially considering the "surprise" beating at the hands of Gang Green. We can safely assume the Panthers have reached their seasonal quota of wins & covers>

I did a quick analysis here...

Roethlisberger with his center Pouncey, Mendenhall & Ward (4 guys playing both ways offense & defense) would be a pick'em at home against the Panthers!!

This may be as close as you'll ever get to a bona fide "l o c k"

NFL Network PIT-S-Polamalu-OUT  -- O well lookit that Carolina I-R list and even without Hairamalu the only way the Panthers would have a shot at covering the spread would be if I was QB-ing them -- STEELERS  minus the pts!

CAR +14.5 - while the Steelers are the better team, they're without Troy.  I'm bettin the late season playoff-clinch, lack of incentive angle will come into play....at least with double digits coming into play.  Score: Steelers 21-Panthers 12.
