Yes, they played well and made me some on Monday Night.

But I'm going with that old time theory that say's bet against the Monday Night winner the following week.

Detroit - 31                       Chicago - 24

Lions +3                    over 45

Two teams from the black & blue division that are looking pretty black & blue as the season comes to a close.

    Looking for a Chicago letdown here. Hats off to Da Bears LW in their Super Bowl against Minny. But let's face it over the last 2 seasons, Chicago has been a diaster! Bears only cover about  20% after a straight up win. And after scoring 30 points and over, they've failed to cover the number!  Also a little matter of the Lions avenging an earlier loss.

Throw in a Monday nite UNDERDOG winner then on the road as a favorite and I believe you have a very high % play there my man.

the way i see it,both teams beat up pretty good.no stafford for det,cutler playing better as of late.while chicago isn't the team of old,they're only giving 3?strong lean towards chicago right now.i just don't see det putting max effort on a meaningless game for them at this point in the season,even counting revenge/pride i'm having a really hard time imagining a det cover much less a su win,and i've been trying to find something,something that would give reason to back det.even with the stats/trends i can't convince myself that chicago won't be able to win by at the very least a touchdown.therefore i've got to go with CHICAGO/UNDER parlay and teaser.hate being on the other side,but,can't see any real reason it going dets' way.my humble opinion only,and i've been wrong before.best of luck to all!

this one can be tricky and it seems like it is.. i wanna take the bears but there is something in me saying dont do it..  that vikings win i think is tricking people and making them believe that the bears should easily win this game against the lions..  vegas is begging you to take the bears here, this could be a trap.. what am i saying?  ill probably take the bears..

If this is a trap than ive fallen for it. Bears -3. Culpepper or Stanton it doesn't really matter both are awful. Jay Cutler should put back to back games together for the first time all year and leave the fans with something to look forward next season.

I like Detroit in this game, the Bears were fantastic on monday and are now feeling really good about themselves.  Well they shouldn't because there are a lot of holes on this team;  I won't bet it because I'm a bears fan be careful. I was quite impressed with Chris WIlliams last week, if he plays the same the bears may still score points.  I think I may like the over.

If the Lions even pull this it, no way they win by more than 3...for max at worst. Tease the Bears and Indy....then add the Vikes or Browns.

BEARS -3  They should be able to handle the lions. Cutler can be good at times and should do well in this game. The lions defense is horrible. They may be the worst in the league. I'm from Baltimore and when they played the Ravens 3 weeks ago they couldn't stop anything the Ravens were doing.

Teasing across zero will put you in the poor house. Det+10 or Det+10.5 is a better play.

Crazy as it sounds, I too believe the Lions could be the upset play of the day.  And what an upset that would be to end the '09 regular season on.  Culpepper will be playing for his NFL life.  Buchanon will be back in the DET secondary . . . I hope.

Also . . . the Bears defense doesn't impress me.  I'll take the points.

I'm rolling with a small play on the Lions money line. The Bears shouldn't be giving anyone points on the road. And if you're betting them thinking Jay Cutler is a positive, then take another look at that league leading interception total.

Bears win this one by +10 cutler has more than one receiver now with Aromashodu showing he can play  knox playing well this will open up the run and forte will have his best game of the year !!

Don't see the Lions being able to stop Cultler, and i heard the
Lions are going to do some experimenting with rookies on Defense which will be a disaster

Man, I liked Vue's call on the Lions here......I just felt more safe taking the over here.....even though Chicago is one of the best under teams in the league this year.  31st ranked D by Detroit and the Lions at home in a protected environment, I thought it would be a similar score to the first game these teams played this year when it went well over 60!!!  Need the Bears to score before the half to get this thing back into shape.
