I don't know why everyone is all over the 49ers. I'm not sure if you guys have been following football over the past month but Alex Smith is playing quarterback in San Fran. This guy is a career bust who is yet to win a game. In case you havn't noticed SF has lost their last 4 contests. Granted the Bears aren't playing great football but the Cardinals are a tough matchup, especially on the road this year.
I'm not a huge Jay Cutler supporter but I like this matchup for him. People are talking about the 49ers defense like its Steel Curtain, they just gave up 34 points to the Titans with Vince Young at QB. Bears defense isn't great, but they have some pass rushers and it doesn't help that the Niners left tackle is out for the year. I agree that against the right type of offense the Bears defense will struggle tremendously, but Alex Smith is never going to be part of one of those offenses. I see the Bears keeping their playoff hopes alive for at least one more week.

I agree with just about everything you said...
What scares me is that DA BEARS just got LIT UP at home against the Cardinals... now they have the weapons to do that, but SF held Arizona in check the first meeting....
I think it's a matter of which Bears Defense is going to show up....
I like Cutler though, and I don't think Alex Smith will be able to stretch the field like Kurt Warner...
they really only have to watch Vernon Davis up the middle.... SF doesn't have a great passing game so I think the Bear will take it... they stop the run well, it's just they cannot stop a good passing team i.e. GB, ATL, CINCY....
But short rest after and ass-kicking can't be good lol
I think DA BEARS take it in the UNDER....
either way I don't see a blowout

The Bears simply need this game more than the 49ers, who have lost their early season mojo. Expect Cutler to air it out early and keep the 49er's playing catchup, leaving Gore off the field. Bears cruise in great conditions for football..... 33-17 Bears
Bears Moneyline and the Over is the play!!

Hey, if you like the Bears, then bet the friggin' Bears! Nobody's holding a gun to your head. I'm sick of everybody "waiting to see what the public is on" - it's called gambling people!!! You either win or lose - bet what you like, and take a friggin' stand!!!!! I'm also sick of all of these fakers (I won't call you out, but you know who you are) who are like "I think I'm gonna moneyline Florida against Vanderbilt" - yeah, no shi* Sherlock!!! That's not gambling!!!!! Hope you didn't sweat it out to much when you bet your $1,000 to win $10.....
All I'm saying is let's keep the threads real - bet who you like - with the point spreads, explain your case, then be willing to take your lumps if you lose - - or talk some serious shi* if you win - - it's all good.......
Oh and, BTW - if anybody's parlaying anything this weekend - add in "The Mexicutioner" Manny Pacquiao to your parlay - guaranteed extra money!!!!!!!!!! - - Just a friendly tip from your good pal Boludo.....

I agree with you. Chicago did get blow out my arizona. But arizona is a very inconsistent team. One week you see them beat the giants away then next week you seem them lose to carolina by 13 points at home.
Does everyone really agree that SF has the better defense?

Why does everyone like the under? I don't know why but I'm liking the over Cutler has thrown 14 TDs & 12 INTs Smiths #'s are 6 TDs with 5 INTs Hell I can see at least 1 pick 6 in this game neither Defense is that great, & both offenses can make big plays Leaning on Bears, but GL to everyone

LOT of people going under and respect your decisions but both defenses mediocre at best. When was the last time except at Vanderbilt did u see Cutler not throw? This guy is a gunslinger if the bears win it wont be on def alone so looking like a scoring affair. The same with SF good running and very good receivers.SF moved ball good on indy stymied in red zone Bears no redzone defense as of late. The divisions are getting away from these two teams so i expect open up the playbook. Comments please

I like the niners in this one and also the under prolly just take the under though but as they have said culter's touchdown to interception ratio is horrid on the road we all remember atl where he accounted for 4 turnovers maybe 5 i cant remember just know it was alot
