This is a battle of 1st place. Smith or no Smith, the 49rs just dont really light the scorebord like a pinball machine. They do enough to get a W.

Bears on the other hand are and always  will be Dfense first,offense second. This tilt will be low scoring and i think it just might come down to a FG.

still liking my 49s to get a hard fought win here

Oh boy...I hate to be on the wrong side of the tracks when the W8 train is coming thru!!! It seems too obvious but the game will be the "three yards and a cloud of dust" type.  Two excellent defenses and two coaches that will likely be very conservative on offense due to the lack of starting QB's.

My advice is POUND THE UNDER EARLY




Harbaugh might be conventional, but he is far from conservative, and Kaepernic has a Huge Edge regrading athletisism and arm strenght over campbell, jason might have the experience, but he is down the hill

good advice today from sammy ace and babygus. I watch every Bears game and I'm telling you their offense is bad with Cutler, and without him and against the 49ers they will absolutely stink. Teaser bets are usually a rip off but in an extra low scoring game they actually have value. I can easily see the 49ers winning by 3 and I would be shocked if the teased under of 40 points loses. Teaser bet 49ers +2.5 under 40. LARGE

Battle of defenses! Bears defense will shut down the running game of the niners tonight. They will dare SF quarterback to beat them. Wont happen. J. Campbell is a better #2, an i like forte an robbie gould in this one tonight..

gotta go with SF.at home,better or at least more of a threat to run the ball if the situation presents itself at QB,both relatively strong defenses and a bit of time change may make a small difference.i'm really looking hard at a teaser here,but will lay the points as a side bet.....luck all.....T

Nice post...however Davis is the best TE now, only for  the fact that Gronk is out for 3-6................

This is a tough game with all the injuries and such going on. The doc is gonna make it is easy for you. Chi def is great but they have not had huge success against the better teams ie a million pts of turnovers. Sfran a bit more consistent minus the minn and stlouis games. Jason campbell is basically jamarcus russell unretired...anyone see byron sammich last nite...really....Alex smith is not even the good part of this team...its the o-line, defensive strength and speed, and harbaughs tenacity. Sfran and und for the medium. Trust me im a doctor. Oh yeah...... covers gimme my g^%$&$^%$dam avatar back you imperial scum!!!!!!

OK guys this is real easy.Who do you trust more Kapernick or Campbell?I say KapernickNot much of a Alex Smith fan either.Would rather have Kapernick at -3.5 than Smith at 7or 8.I'm just saying if Kapernick plays a avg.game they cover the 3.5GLE Out

I went back and rewatched both the 49ers and Bears games from last week. The 49ers gave up a TD to Brian Quick after falling down from a jam at the line on a blown up play. The 49ers also gave up a huge run to Rams running back Richardson with a personal foul call that led to the next touchdown. The Rams really should have only had 10-16 points last week in San Fran. I think they will see the film and clean up their play. San Fran also killed themselves with some bonehead penalties. 

The Bears last week had four turnovers and a missed field goal in the slop. Jason Campbell is going to do better this week than last but still not good enough. There Tight End play is terrible at the moment. Alshon Jeffery is making his return though. This should help Brandon Marshall and Campbell. The Bears are going to need defensive touchdowns in order to win. I would take my chances on the home team in this one.

Campbell and Forte will get straight up pounded by the 49ers front 4 tonight as CHI's o-line just won't able to stop the rush. SF covers tonight  and if the line keeps dropping...taking the over
