Cleveland D is better than most people think.  Public perception is the only reason this line is so high.

Browns +13 and Under.

Ravens tired (agree with the 4 games in 18 days point), Browns D can hold its own. Think this game goes the way these rivalry games tend to. Baltimore should win but won't cover, too many points.

My one hesitation is that with all the dogs covering or outright winning, we're more than due for some regression to the mean.

Dhumber, quite apt, if I may be so bold. I too had GB, but the idea that  Vegas mobsters put the fix in is frankly laughable. If they could control the games as you intimate, then the clever sports traders would spot the pattern and jump in, the markets would collapse and the people would stop betting.

No, we both lost our bets because Jennings should have batted the ball down and he didn't. We lost because offensive pass interference wasn't called. We didn't lose because some wise guys put the fix in.

Bullshit Gunter,I  like how this is your first ever post and you come out with this bullshit. PRobably a paid propaganda agent for the NFL or The Sands. Corruption is alive and well just take a look at Congress they are all corrupt. These temp refs are more susceptable to corruption as they have nothing to lose but their jobs.  

Check it out at the fixisin.net   you can see  how the flag prone Raiders only had three penalties  and how the Vikings last week only had one penalty while their competition got hammered with penalties. How convenient with over 73% of the public on the Steelers and Niners.

The perfect storm of penalties that led to the Seahawks win and cover was obvious and agregious.1. Roughing the quarterback to nullify the interception. 2. Pass interference to get them in range when the one doing the interference was Seattle hanging all over the defender. 3. The call that will live in infamy, The two finger reception. 

The NFL for ratings purposes has the legal right to tell refs what to do as NFL is classified as entertainment. Just like WWF. So for ratings purposes in a multi billion dollar industry they have and will continue to manipulate the games. So for nationally broadcast games I will be refraining from betting most of those. 

The only difference between the replacement refs and the regular ones is that the replacements are not as slick at it and secondly, they are more open to bribes. Whereas, the regular refs are just beholden to the Commissioner for rating purposes mainly.

While I fear a letdown after that win against New England, i'm siding with Baltimore here.  Joe Flacco is for real.  Just like Eli ascended into the elite echelon of quarterbacks last year, so too will Flacco this one.  Their offense has been clicking all season, and with Pitt being good as always and a dangerous Cincy team, Baltimore cannot take this game lightly.  I see a 35-13 type game here.  With how easy Baltimore picked apart the New England D I would have to side slightly with the over.  The juice scares me but Baltimore routed a really tough Bengals team and don't seem to play poorly in Baltimore.  GL everybody

The NFL arguing that regular refs can be ''benched for poor performance'' is an example.  What they are really saying is that if they dont make the desired calls they can be punished.

I agree with you completely OC_sharp949 DO NOT OVERTHINK IT.  Everyone is clearly reeling form the GreenBay robbery, get over it. It lead to second guessing yourself hence taking the points but not me.  There is a reason the spread is 13. NFL referees are back, but if the replacements were still in the game forcast?  I would of taken the points or no-play. Reality is the short week affects the road team in this matchup. And all I can visualize is Baltimore up 7 and the inevitable pick 6 Weeden is due to throw today. Rule of thumb from fellow gamblers is double digit spread take the points, i only agree with that if that underdog is at home not on the road.  Baltimore in a blowout.  Jesus do any of you remember what Ravens did to Bengals?  Bengals were a lot better than Browns and their ass got blownout.  NFL LIVE:C'MON MAN!  Browns won't have the help of Referee's incompetence tonight to cover the 13 points.  Baltimore-13

I know many posters/gamblers don't like teasers as much as I do... But this game screams for it...

Cleveland +17.5 and under 50 is a very easy handle to pull... The line has moved 3 points and I love home underdogs on prime time. Baltimore has had two games where ejections should have taken place (Philly, NE) with the real refs coming back, expect them to take some of the raw emotion and mold it into frustrations. That should keep their offense in neutral most of the game...Cleveland will rely on Brandon Wheeden and the worst wr's in football to move Bernard Pollard back and out the box to let Trent Richardson open up, that gives me some doubt about their ability to move the ball consistently. 

Those two factors sold me on the under and the game being close...17.5 points is a huge number, do I need to expand?

This is the best defense Brandon Weeden will have faced in his entire career. In three games he has 3 TD's vs. 6 INT's which tell me that Ed Reed who already has 2 INT's on the season will likely get his third. I read a statement on this thread earlier that stated Trent Richardson is a breakout RB...3.5 yards per carry doesn't say breakout especially against the front 7 of the Baltimore Ravens. Ray Rice is averaging 5.8 yards per carry and Flacco is coming into his own with the no huddle. Torrey Smith will still be playing with a little emotion before burying his little brother. The real refs are back and the Ravens veteran secondary will play the receivers tighter than and better than the Browns defense can. Yes, the Ravens are up in age, but keep in mind the game is at home AND Sunday's game was at home so I don't think the short turn around will be that much of a factor. I think they will look forward to the long weekend more. The Ravens last two games against quality opponents were both decided by 1 point. Champions beat the people they're suppose to beat the way they're suppose to beat them...With that said, Ravens are thinking Championship, no let down here.

I love the post, lots of information. Browns also lost one of their recievers. I agree Baltimore should blow them the fuck out. That being said, not betting this nationally televised game.
