And with me just winning big with Cleveland tonight as a dog against the Giants, with a spread and moneyline hit, now comes the ugly side of wagering.
 
It is always a good idea to fade a team that upsets the defending Super Bowl Champions if their next game is a road game. I am all over the Skins in this game, especially after an upset loss to the lowly Rams in another game i called correctly last week. I caught eat for that pick as well. Seems that I'm catching a lot of heat lately and making big gains at the same time.

You're right. 7.5 would be too many. I like 6.5, as I do think that the skins will be atouchdown better than them in this game, but that's about it. Maybe the public will push the number down. Hopefully.

Definetly like Washington here.
 
The Giants did a lot more to beat themselves with all of the turnovers, missed tackles and broken coverages than Cleveland did to beat them.  Cleveland didn't really "stop" the Giants they just out-gunned them.
Look at all the penalties Cleveland commits everygame!
 
The Skins won't lose two in a row at home especially after giving the Rams their first win.

Wow, more Cleveland bashing. Cleveland owned NYG. If it were not for the illegal contact before the end of the first half the Browns would have given up just 10 points. Wright's pick on the 4 yard line was a great defensive play at the ball...ELI didn't even see him coming. Give this team some credit. If line is over +7 I am taking the Browns. If this same offense shows up on Sunday (minus the O-line penalties) that played the Giants then this game will be closer than many realize.

Not bashing Cleveland just playing the percentages. Here's what I got. Teams that upset the defending Super Bowl champions with following game on the road against an opponent with a winning percentage of .400 or better with an over/under total of 42 or fewer are just 2-19-1 ats since 1980.  That's just a little food for thought. FYI Fpronk, I had Cleveland on Monday night too, and i also had the foresight to take the moneyline for $350.00 to make a cool grand in addition to the monies I put up for the game spread.

Completely agreed. Browns controlled that game from start to finish. If anyone tried to beat themselves it was Cleveland with all those penalties.

But no thoughts yet on the Browns-Skins

I agree with Watch, it's not Cleveland bashing it's pointing out that Cleveland isn't a top tier team just because the Giants played like crap.
 
Here is a huge stat as to why I like the Skins even more:
 
The Browns allowed the Giants 181 yards on 25 attempts for 7.2 yards per rush!!!
 
That is frickin horrible!!! You don't think the NFL's leading rusher Portis, is going to have a huge day at HOME!

love the browns here.  winslow s/b back, and anderson looks to have finally hit his best stride.  skins just dont blow teams out.

9 points is alot in the NFL.    I would take the over in this one.  between Wash and Cle, they should score alot of points.  Wash may be much improved, but they aren't world beaters.  and Cleveland isn't as bad as people thought.

good point.  Wash isn't the type of team that is going to blow teams out.  Plus isn't wash big on Defense and the running game with Clinton Portis?

The last couple of posts say it all...and it's exactly what I said last week.  The Redskins win games, but they just don't have the type of team that is going to blow you out.  If they have a lead, it's not that difficult to get back in the game.  They run the ball, control the clock and just keep the other team from getting the big play.  Last week the Rams were able to get a couple of big plays and that lead to their winning field goal.  This week, the Browns certainly have the ability for the big play, but either way, the Skins are not winning this one by 8 points.

Clev has become a better team in the last few weeks and after the Giants win they are still over a 7 point dog? That seems a little fishy to me...Leaning toward Clev, no play yet.
