That rank is grossly misleading. It has more to do with the fact that teams are able to throw at will on them than it does with their ability to stop the run. Watch a little and you may learn something.

Cowboys too balanced for the bears Boys up to -6.

Dallas (-3.5) 31 CHICAGO 25

The Cowboys were embarrassed on Thanksgiving Day at home by the division leading Eagles (10-33) and now find themselves in second place with another date scheduled with Philly next week. They were manhandled at the point of attack on both sides of the ball and were outgained 268 total yards at 4.7 yppl to 465 yards at 6.4 yppl, including being out rushed 94 yards at 3.9 ypr to 257 yards at 6.0 ypr. On the other side, the Bears were beaten just as badly as the Cowboys with a similarly poor stat line with no run game to speak of (14 yards at 2.0 ypr). At 5-7 the season is essentially now over for the Bears as they have no realistic shot of making the playoffs at this point. However, in front of the home crowd in a primetime game, the Bears should be ready to play.

The Cowboys have a good passing match-up with an offense that has averaged 232 yards at 7.2 yps facing a Bears pass defense that has been terrible in allowing 270 yards at 7.3 yps to teams that would typically gain 234 yards at 6.3 yps. Last week the Lions shredded the Chicago secondary for 383 passing yards at 8.3 yps and I expect the Cowboys to be able to do the same, especially if they can get their ground game going as I expect they will. This looks like a high scoring game to me as long as the Cowboys offense doesn’t go into a deep freeze with wind chills expected to be in the mid 20’s. The Bears qualify in a 28-8 situation and benefit from a negative 29-55-2 situation that plays against the Cowboys but my model favors Dallas by 5 points and I don’t like the match-ups for the Bears in this one. It’s a slight lean to Dallas minus the points & over 51. BOL!!! 

UMMMM... Did anyone watch Dallas on Thanksgiving!

Tony Romo couldn't even hit a barn if it was running a 10 yard cross route..  Lets be honest folks, Dallas is not the high octane offense as the public perceives. They actually look like crap.  Considering that, their biggest strength is the run game... aka.. tick tick tick..

The bears suck too.  The best the Bears defense will possibly play is AT HOME ON MONDAY night!  Not saying there defense is great but its not a road game in Green Bay or Denver..

With everything said.. the Bears suck.  Last game they have to play for all year so the defense shows up!  Dallas offense is extremely overrated.  They only put up 10 points AT HOME last week in a HUGE game..

Expect a lot of running plays from both teams.. lots of clocks going tick tick tick.. couple first downs then punt.  3 and outs then punt.  This is going to be a kicker game.  more field goals could win.  Touchdowns will be at premium.  Bears aint scared to knock Dez in his face.

I mean losing pick...  But love the fact you are buying down! shows a smart better.  I would feel safe with Dallas -2.5 for sure an EXTREMELY smart move..  But the over!!! Chicago stinks and Dallas is unreliable.  Playing the under 51, seems a FG too high.
