I wonder how bad that Rodger's calf injury really is??? 

Is the line moving down b/c of this? 

Will the frigid weather make it worse?

Just a few Q's before I decide.   and I hate the Cowboys.

As far as analysis on this game one thing become very obvious to me after watching a stellar defensive line vs a stellar offensive line.  The defensive line has the advantage on turf.  This would explain the cowboys struggles at home and success on the road.  Also remember the score of the Green Bay game in Detroit?  With the right game plan of ball control Dallas will win this game in Green Bay.  The weather isnt going to be that bad.  High teens and low wind.  Aaron Rodgers is the one person who is talented enough to win the game on his own.  When it came out that he had a partial tear as well as a significant sprain in his calf I put a max bet on cowboys.

-5 as we speak, It is the lowest favorite of the weekend + QB injury + attractive ML + Media. I do not think Vegas will just say Hey take this is free, We do not trust those cheeseheads either.

Heads up. Rogers has a torn calf muscle and won't be practicing with the team until Friday. This pushes the Green Bay -6 bet to a no play for me. I expect Rogers to play but we don't know for how long and he definitely won't be very mobile. Mobile QB's like Rogers are a lot more valuable during the play offs for the simple reason they take more risks with their body this time of the year than they do during the regular season. There are a lot of uncertainties in this game, we won't know how sore Romo's back is until he gets slammed to the frozen Green Bay turf.

Love this time of year,because I can play these games like an office pool and invest  part of my earnings(a small amount that I can afford ) this season on a 3 team parley on the money line.

GB lights up the pts like crazy in the 1st half @ home. If the Cowboys intend to hang around they cannot fall behind like they did to DET. Frankly they got likely winning that game cause the Lions were shooting demsleves in the foot with bush league penalities. GB does not do those brainfart mistakes. Depending on Roger's injury i might roll with DAL covering here but not winning it

What?! You must have been in a cave all of yesterday because Rodgers practiced yesterday and Coach McCarthy said he looked good. To Suzzan(whatever) I threw out the importance of Eddie Lacey catching balls out of the backfield, so not sure you are reading everyone's posts

Liking the Packers here at Lambeau Field in the semi frozen tundra on Sunday. Cowboys outside on grass in the elements no thanks. not the Ice Bowl but the same result. Packers -5.5. GLTA!

If Rodgers can get stepped on by that behemoth, he;ll be fine in this one.
   He doesn't have to move that much because of his quick release & decision making,

Don't get me wrong, Demarc will get his yards, but one slip up,
and it's turnover city, then it trickles down to Romo.
8-0 could end here, Even if Flynn has to spell A-rodge for a while.

But,, if the pack don't get the TO's,anything can happen.

A lot of talk surrounding this game is about how the Cowboys will control the clock because the GB D won't be able to stop DeMarco Murray. But what about Eddy Lacy and James Starks? Will the Cowboys be able to stop them? Detroit couldn't and they had a better front 7. And if they can't, won't that open up Dallas' suspect secondary to a heavy dose of Nelson, Cobb, Adams, Rodgers (the TE, not the QB), Quarless and Adams? Why suddenly is everyone on the Cowboys' bandwagon? I like the over in this game, not because the two teams will each score at least 30 points but, because one of them just might lay down a 40-burger - most likely, the home team.

Weather calling for a game time temp of 21 degrees with calm winds, not bad for Green Bay in January. Lions sacked Romo 6 times last week and while Detroit has a pretty good defensive line I think the Packers can get a pass rush on Romo as well. Rodgers health is the real concern for this one. If he's 80% Packers roll. Cowboys will not be able to cover Jordy and Cobb. Throw in Eddie Lacy and the Pack will move the ball. 20 degrees is cold but not enough to hold Dallas down that much. Looking for something like 35-21 Packers. Green Bay Packers -5.5 Over 51.5 GLTA!

This game will be a blowout.  A well-rested Green Bay Packers team will make this very ugly for the Cowboys.  I'm not sure why this line isn't -10.
