Dallas takes care of business here. All the starters will be back from injury. Look for plenty of scoring from the Cowboys. Portis is banged up and may not play. Good spot for the Boys to right the ship.

agreed, i'm leaning Dallas here, and look for Tony Romo to play calmer and smarter than he was before the injury...fewer turnovers

I agree Dallas will be getting all there starters back from injury and Romo will want to get his first chance to use R. Williams and T.O. together, plus Witten should be feeling better from the rib injury. I see Dallas winning this by at least 7-10pts.Plus Dallas needs this game if they want to stay in the plaoff race.
Dallas 31
Skins 24

Romo coming back is huge but where has the Boys D gone? Skins playing very conservative, cautious games and coming away with wins. Dallas needs this game big-time, but no more so than Washington wants to own the series this year. This is going to be a great game to watch but my money is staying away from this one.

The under in this same is my favorite over/under play of the year. Skins defense will be at full-strength with Springs and Taylor back. Springs will lock-up Owens. Rogers will lock-up Williams. Witten is not 100% and the Skins safeties can cover him. Barber averages less than 30 yards per game against the Skins. Romo's pinky is not 100% either. Felix Jones has yet to practice this week.
On the other side of the ball, the Redskins will probably be without Portis (sprained MCL) and Moss & Samuels are not isn't 100%. Ware should be able to get pressure on Campbell.
I see a 17-14 game coming down to turnovers and special teams.
Skins have won 5 of last 7 against Cowboys straight up and 8 of last 9 ATS. But with Portis banged up its a stay far far away from the line and just bet the under.

Romo will be back, but remember, how good was he when he got his hand broke in his last game? Emotion will be with Washington and 80,000 fans. Dallas is still that undisciplined team that it was when the crash started. Redskins QB has a big day, Dallas still can't cover the pass. Most of their players back? don't believe the hype, Dallas is not a very good team.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Good post. I like the Under too. Portis is not looking likely at all based on most recent reports. And Romo will be rusty and playing away against a good team on .

This is Dallas's biggest game of the season so far....
THEY HAVE TO WIN THIS GAME...
off a bye week I think they will....
Romo is back, CHANGES the offense.... .changes the way teams defend them.... even if he is not 100% this will open up Marion Barber... that screen pass will be working to perfection off a bye especially the way Wash blitzes....
Major playmaker back in Jones and that will give them decnt to good field position....
Too many weapons.... Now they have Williams... he gets a bye week to get timing down with ROMO and I see him having a great game.... and if he doesn't.... TO WILL.....
Gotta take the Boys here.... I hated on them all year but I can't bet against them...
If they clean up their false starts and other penalties this game won't even be close...
I'm thinking about going Large on the Boys.... Romo was out way too long for a pinky injury and I see him coming back, making few mistakes, and doing just enough to win this MUST NEEDED victory....

With the amount of key players who are questionable and the amount of key players coming back from injury in this weeks game, I think its a big mistake to bet this game big. Just too many unknowns here.

Biggest game of they year for dallas, so far and for the rest of they year, must win here, and they know it...Romo hasnt played as good as he can all year so far...hes got 2 of the best recievers in the league and a solid RB in barber, not to mention jones. I see a slow start in the first half especially with romo not playing for awhile, but second half itll be over. dallas crushes second half. 27- 17 dallas wins... lots of running for dallas

Although both teams are coming off a bye week, I think it helped Dallas more than Washington.
With Romo returning to the helm, I think Dallas offense explodes on the Redskins for min 4 TDs, while the rejuvenated defense should be able to hold Wahington to only couple of TDs.
I like Dallas a lot in this 1st game of the 2nd half of the their rollercoaster season.
Giving only 1 point seems like a early christmas present..

Romo does nothing to help that terrible defense the cowboys have. He wont shut down Santana Moss or stop the run. Cowboys are play with no discipline at all. Stupid penaltys will kill them on the road in front of 80,000. Any NFC east game is a "must win". No defense, no offensive line...Zona pressured Romo 25+ times LOL what u think skins will do?? I hope portis doesnt play so Shaun Alexander can run all over one of the bottom 5 defense's in the NFL.
Redskins BIG!!
Giants went 5-5 in the redzone with 5 td's against this cowboys team.....

Romo will be playing with a hellboy hand. Expect a few fumbles, sure practice it's fine but game speed being chased, TURNOVERS. Hard count will get you 4 1st downs, Dallas can't hold their water. Deep balls to Moss and Randle-El. Team from the west going east.

Hey LT, put the crack pipe down and take a look at a map. Dallas is not in the west it's in the middle of the country directly south of Minnesota. Would you call Minnesota west?

Ok, one of you all has your facts wrong. I live in Oklahoma and maybe I can put this in perspective. While on a map Texas is in the middle of the United States...states such as New Mexico, Oklahoma, and especially Texas are indeed called the Southwest. I'm not the person that made up this classification. But people who know US history are well aware that Texas is indeed considered the West. Remember that expression ...."how the West was won?" They were talking about Texas as part of that equation. In regards to Minn v Texas...I'm not sure if that is even relevant to this argument. PLz let's refrain from bashing our fellow posters unless we clarify the info 1st. and whether or not spyweb smokes crack doesn't really have alot of bearing on this either. I personally would be ashamed to condem a "crackheads" info and be wrong. I someone on here kinda owes someone else an apology, but that's if they are man enough.
In regards to the game....It must be noted that in a div rivarly, the team that loses the 1st game normally wins the 2nd game approx 60% of the time. I actually learned this from covers. Knowing this, and knowing that Dallas got smoked by the NY Giants..
I have to pick Dallas and the over.
