No Portis for the Skins i will take Dallas to cover the 2.5.   A little revenge for the 26-24 defeat a few weeks ago.  This is it Cowboys lose and its wait till next year.

Hey LT, put the crack pipe down and take a look at a map.  Dallas is not in the west it's in the middle of the country directly south of Minnesota.  Would you call Minnesota west?  
 
 
 
 
Ok, one of you all has your facts wrong.  I live in Oklahoma and maybe I can put this in perspective.  While on a map Texas is in the middle of the United States...states such as New Mexico, Oklahoma, and especially Texas are indeed called the Southwest.  I'm not the person that made up this classification.  But people who know US history are well aware that Texas is indeed considered the West. Remember that expression ...."how the West was won?"  They were talking about Texas as part of that equation.  In regards to Minn v Texas...I'm not sure if that is even relevant to this argument.  PLz let's refrain from bashing our fellow posters unless we clarify the info 1st.  and whether or not spyweb smokes crack doesn't really have alot of bearing on this either.  I personally would be ashamed to condem a "crackheads" info and be wrong.  I someone on here kinda owes someone else an apology, but that's if they are man enough. 
 
 
 
In regards to the game....It must be noted that in a div rivarly, the team that loses the 1st game normally wins the 2nd game approx 60% of the time.  I actually learned this from covers.  Knowing this, and knowing that Dallas got smoked by the NY Giants..

You can tell its bad in Dallas when the fans got nothing else to talk about than mistakes other posters made.  Cowboys WILL lose this game.  Look at wonderboy romo's history when the pressure is on.(i.e. playoffs)  Alexander or Portis will run all over the dallas D and Campbell will not turn the ball over.  Once again ROMO DOES NOT PLAY DEFENSE FOR THE COWBOYS.  Dallas is the weakest defense in nfc east by far.

People put so much stock in "must win" games, or situations...
 
If a team was good they wouldn't put themselves in a must win spot.
 
Both teams are off a bye, both teams are injured, but perception gives us a divisional home dog...and thats what I lean on.

Two things you will find on covers that most all posters hate and that is the L word and posters who put up burning money before the game has been played.  Burning money is usually reserved for your own picks not somebody elses.

Portis sets up Campbell's success....
 
Off a Bye, I see a Healthy Dallas winning by a substantial margin and make the NFC EAST a closer division.....

Man, I came into post 3 picks and I am against W8lifter on all 3.  I hope I am wrong on Indy, zona, and the cowgirls.
 
I hate them with all my heart, but the cowgirls go on a serious run, starting this week in Washington.

IMO - There is no way that Washington can hang with Dallas with limited action from Portis.
 
This is a needed win for Dallas to get back on track.

anyone mention that dallas o-line sucks...either way skins will put pressure on the o-line.. there will be alot of incomplete passes and turnovers that will keep this game close and a low scoring game...imo...also if portis comes back look for skins to utilize the run game. UNDER 43.5

Dallas looks like a false favorite here... all the drama on that team this year... is romo seriously gonna come back and be a team that they struggle with?  i don't see the skins losing back to back at home like that and i don't see dallas just gelling right away.  I think that it was close enough to a PK game for vegas that they just made the team that will lose the favorite to make people think they're going to win

A Dallas loss here would have them at 5-5 with 6 games to play . The Giants are a virtual lock to win the NFC East.  With only 2 wild card spots, the Cowboys would be chasing the Eagles, Redskins, Falcons, Panthers, Buccaneers and Vikings .
 
This is why they need this game.  Portis is out, Romo is back.  Romo's presence alone will jumpstart the energy that has been lacking the past couple of weeks.  So long as he avoids turning the ball over, Dallas will cruise .

Dallas/Washingtion series, normally the home team wins.  Septempter 28 with Romo playing (300 yds passing) Dallas lost at home.  Bring out the broom & crying towel, Washington wins a close one.
