You bet when you think you know the outcome of the game, it sounds like to me you know it will be either a 9 or 11 point win

I need advice on stradegy for maximizing profit on a teaser card.  My card is a $200, 5 team, 6 point teaser that pays $900 if Denver game goes over 44 points.  I have been told to look for a half time total to bet under to try to "middle", that is, I can win both the half time under and the 44 total.  What is the best range for half time number (under) that I should look for and how much should I bet?

Sry guys but looks like the line is correct. Denver D is not that good. well rested Chargers should be ready for the second half of the season. I cant believe the Chargers have been favored in each game this year. They are the only team and dont have much to say for it. leaning SD and Over

Rich guy. I'm only tossing $300 per game; makes it look like a kid betting.  Oh well, congrats to you.

This is a tough game to pick. Though I am leaning on Chargers -10, I might just stay away.

The Chargers aren't 10 points better than ANYONE.  Even when they're healthy, which they are not.

They may very well win this game by 10 points, anything can happen in this league, but I need to understand how anyone can look at this game from a handicapping standpoint and see this roster being 10 points better than any team in the NFL? 

I'd like to see some talent breakdowns, instead of just "denver sucks" or "mcdaniel is an idiot, SD rolls...."

Does anyone have anything that could justify kicking off down 10 points, and rallying for the win?  I haven't seen it yet out of this club.

Does anyone have the actual money trend on this one?  Which way is it moving? 

I'll be heavy on Denver no matter what, but trying to grab the +10 if its going that way.

I would wait to halftime and see what the line looks like.  Let's say the first half total is 24, the second half total will be right around 26.  In order to 'hedge' yourself, put 200 (or more if you'd like) on the second half under.  That way, if the total somehow doesn't reach 44 you won't lose any money.  Also, if 24 points is scored in the second half, you would win both bets.  You have to see what it looks like at halftime though.

I'm thinking Chargers -9. No way does Denver repeat that last week's performance, that was a total fluke. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. Hopefully they "fixed" the instant replay for the refs. The refs said we can't view the instant replay - yeah right, what a joke. I wouldn't have shaken Josh McDummys hand either.
Chargers should cover the 9 by halftime.

My game of the year was last night with the NYG and Over.  An Eli Manning fumble was the difference.  I have lost so many games this year with under 5 minutes to play.  It's actually quite hilarious.

For what it's worth, I am on Denver and the over.  My NFL season has been quite mediocre so far because of all the last second back dooring (thanks Peyton - twice).  I am basing my pick on Denver on the fact that the line opened at 9' which is a very dog oriented line.  Much like 2' or 6'.  The over is just mathematics.

The Chargers are the #1 ranked offense and defense in the NFL. They are #1 against the pass. The Broncos are like 26th ranked in defense. Chargers are coming off a bye week and are getting healthy with some key players coming back this week. The Chargers have also done very well of late against the Broncos.I think the play is Chargers - 9

THE LINE IS BASICALLY ASKING PEOPLE TO TAKE THE BRONCOS HERE...THATS A LOT OF POINTS DIVISION GAME ON MONDAY NIGHT...HOWEVER, I AM PRETTY SURE PHILLIP RIVERS HATES THE DENVER BRONCOS...HE LITERALLY GETS OFF ON DESTROYING US...I REMEMBER HIM ALWAYS MAKING THOSE BABY CRYING GESTURES AT CUTLER FROM ACROSS THE FIELD...ITS LIKE HE GETS THIS EVIL LOOK IN HIS EYE...PLUS THEY ARE COMING OFF THE BYE...MALCOLM FLOYD IS BACK...I LOVE MY DENVER BRONCOS BUT THIS LINE SCREAMS CHARGERS

 Thank you...I didn't know when he was allowed to come back and play....The Wr's the Chargers have now are pretty decent but Jackson would be a big help.
