Is this the highest spread we've seen in the NFL this season? I like Detroit +17. They're going to win before the season is over. That's an awful lot of points. Indy is on fire, but they're only 6-6-1 ATS.

Agreed - This season (between Detroit & Cincinnati) I've taken the "dog" every time the spread is over 2 touchdowns, and won every time. 17??? It's just too many points to give up - even for the Detroit box-Cats.....

Lions definately on the 50 year curse as evidence by their record this 50th year

My Mint Bobby Layne Card from 1957

In 1958, after leading the Lions to 3 NFL Championships and providing Detroit nearly decade of Hall of Fame play, the Lions traded Bobby Layne. Bobby was injured during the last championship season and the Lions thought he was through and wanted to get what they could for him. According to Legend, as he was leaving for Pittsburgh Bobby said that Detroit "would not win for 50 years".

He said it in oct 1958 but I'm guessing he meant this whole season.

Indy -17 at home on turf....
 
final score of 30 plus to under 14....
 
I bet with the Bengals and Cheifs (vs. SD, not at NE lol)  and won both times..... but the Cheifs were underrated and had a new qb and the Bengals are without their starting qb, but still put up some offense despite their late TD troubles.....
 
The lions are just terrible.... they can't stop anybody and as long as INDY watches Calvin Johnson, who is catching the football? their only hope is to run every down....
 
the CHEIFS, BENGALS, and RAIDERS are all better teams than the Detroit Lions....

17 points in an NFL game is a joke. Lions are the play here.

Why is 17 a joke? They won by 32 last week, and the situation is very similar. Horrible team at home, and IND is fighting for the playoffs still. Plus the Lions are even worse than the Bengals.

Indy cant stop the run and if KS runs and calvin catches, 17 is a lot.  Culpepper now also out, now whos qb for Detroit.  none wants any part of the curse and be a qb for detroit now.  indy should cover, but indy isnt the past few years same indy

If there's one thing I'm sure of... If Merinelli catches ear of this line he'll have DET ready to play. Lions will still get beat bad but more like 14. DET has been dogged by double digits 6 times this year and covered 5 of em and went over in every one except the two against MINN. If they gave us a half pt I would love vegas!

might switch on the side by sunday but the over under goes with the team that covers, so a parlay is a good bet. INDY/UNDER or DET/OVER.

Detroit +17 - I don't have a lot to say on this one. 17 points is just too many for the NFL. Especially for a Colts team that has squeeked away the majority of it's wins this year. Don't get me wrong, the Colts are the better team by far here and they should win the game without much trouble, but 17 points is a bet I'll take any day. Play of the week... Detroit +17.

i would hope the people on this site would understand a fix once in a  while.
plays are houston, oakland, and dallas this week.  Dallas a favorite against the giants, thats a joke.  Houston only plus 3, thats a joke, and everyone is going to beat new england, so oakland will cover like SEATLE  did last week plus 4.5.  Nfl is fixed, just like every other professional sport.
