Pack Lost by 4+ points on road               =  2 - 5
Bears Total over 40 at home                    =  5 - 2
Pack Total over 40 on road                      =  5 - 2

My number indicated that maximum total = 41.125. Post total open @ 43...now down to 40 at all sites.

Every year the last couple of weeks breed games like this......like the Jets game, Philly, Pit, Arizona, even many thought Minny would get it done......oh, don't forget Tampa and Denver and even Houston as a hot team against poor old Oakland.........Don't dare take the Bears in this spot!!  The pressure is on THEM!  GB will be loose and fancy free and ran all over them earlier in the year........and in the cold on the road.......what do you think the game plan will be for them tonight??? 
 
Take the Pack and the Under and go against the herd........if you didn't see it yesterday or last week in the NFL.........that's what you do the last 3-4 weeks of the season every year in the NFL........fade the favs and the public.  Need one more example.........even though it didn't happen at the end........but Carolina played more than well enough to steal home field from the Giants.........just couldn't kick the field goal........drats, and I had em +3.5......lol  GL to everyone tonight!
 
Don't try to get you looses back tonight by rolling with the favorite and the over.........the book got most people the past week........make the uncomfortable pick and get on his side and take the dog and the under.

any one in chicago can tell us how the weather going to be before kick off and during the game ? it's may be rain , and the temp is at 4 degree  , but i'm not sure about the snow ?

I lot "lo_k" games went bust yesterday. Anyone else lose their a_s on Pitt too?  I'm happy to say I came close to recovery after that G-man OT touchdown! Talk about a lucky finish to an upside down day. So tonite I'm going against the popular majority, GB plus the points. This game should stay close.......

Packers are still an excellent 10-4 ATS (12-2 SU) their last 14 trips to Chicago.

You may wonder how last night OT ended with a TD..

..the reason is so people wont' see what's coming tonight.

I live/work downtown Chicago. It's colder than well digger's ass in January out there. The "grass" at Soldier field is horrible. This weather will make it tough to do anything but go north and south on this field. Packers 4-1 Under their last five on grass. Bears must win and will try to control game without any real flashiness (not that we have much). It'll be a keep it somple gameplan and jsut keep it close into the fourth quarter kind of mentality. Unlike college, no style points required here. Local sports talk show had former players like Gary Fencik (great safety) and others give their prediction (for what it's worth). They've palyed these games themselves and 9 of 10 called for a low scoring event 23-10, 17-10, 17-6. Taking the Bears and the Under.

The line is 4.5 because of the recent close games the Packers have played. Many people will bet the Pack just for that reason. Others will bet the Bears because the home team is 12-4 on MNF this year...not sure what the ATS records are this year but the home team has done well.
 
Simply put, the Bears were lucky to get past the Saints last Thursday and the Packers have a pretty decent offense with a lot of weapons similiar to the Saints. The Bears opened that game with a kick off return for a TD...don't think that will happen tonight.
 
I don't believe the Bears DEF will hold the Packers to less than 24 points..so that means the Bears need to score 29 to cover. Now, I haven't looked to see how many times the Bears scored over that number...checking now....okay, 3 times all before the bi week..once in week one against a short handed Colts team in Indy, once against the Lions, and once in a shoot out with the Vikings but scored 3 times on DEF. Unlikely those things happen tonight. There will be a couple scores of turnovers. I think tonight is probably a good night to stay of the TOTAL. This game will be close to the number tonight...and if it goes over barely gets there.

Funny how many people seem to have their CAPS LOCK key stuck.  Tough to read those...in fact, I usually don't.
 
Anyhow, here is the bet tonight I think.  Assuming Forte's toe is not that bad, and considering the weather, I am betting a prop that Forte will have more than 21 rushing attempts.  Do not forget, he is also going for the Bears all-time rookie rushing record.  I believe he needs like 67 yards or something. 
 
Otherwise, I llike the Pack to play spoilers, and some turnovers leading to east quick points.  Thus over 40.
