Simply put, the Bears were lucky to get past the Saints last Thursday and the Packers have a pretty decent offense with a lot of weapons similiar to the Saints. The Bears opened that game with a kick off return for a TD...don't think that will happen tonight.
 
I don't believe the Bears DEF will hold the Packers to less than 24 points..so that means the Bears need to score 29 to cover. Now, I haven't looked to see how many times the Bears scored over that number...checking now....okay, 3 times all before the bi week..once in week one against a short handed Colts team in Indy, once against the Lions, and once in a shoot out with the Vikings but scored 3 times on DEF. Unlikely those things happen tonight. There will be a couple scores of turnovers. I think tonight is probably a good night to stay of the TOTAL. This game will be close to the number tonight...and if it goes over barely gets there.

I have to believe the Bears will cover because they need the game and if GB gets behind why will they even want to be out there freezing they're nuts off? I know they are bitter rivals but I just cant see the Pack overcoming adversity with nothing to play for but pride or to play spoiler.I read an earlier article where there has been alot of animosity on the Pack team in the last 2 games. I read a lot of these posts and I think I will take the Packers +4.5 , small play on Packers ML +170 and under 41 I think Fpronk and NoBetNoWin are on the right path with the under.

Peppto..its really just my opinion but the lined opened at 42-43 and quickly dropped to 40 the majority of online books. I believe the smart money came in on the UNDER early. The OVER has been a huge public play all year and I believe late line movement back up indicates joe bettor making his play on the OVER. Again, just my opinion. Good Luck!

I like the Bears tonight, and I think Neck-Beard help's them rise to the occasion.  Dude's a great Bear.  I think he loves this kind of game and I think he'll make a clutch throw or two that could be the difference down the stretch.  Not having him right in Green Bay was a huge factor the first time around.

As far as "fate" goes, everyone wants to marinate on what happened yesterday as an excuse to stay away, but what I see is that so many things had to fall the right way for the Bears to be in this position that, despite the fact the pressure is on them, I think take advantage of the moment and they come out ready.  Especially on the defensive end.  And I'm not sure the motivation is there for the Packers to play as hard down the stretch.

Late game momentum, monday night in December, the playoffs in sight, it all plays into Chicago's hands at home as the game wears on.

That said, I'll probably buy 'em down to 2 and a hook, 'cause it definitely could be close.

I don't like taking a team that has already won once in the season against a division foe, but tonight, I think the Bears buckle under the pressure ... Two weeks in a row on primetime football and at home - Sorry Bears fans and backers ... Packers play spoiler quite well tonight ... I just don't have the balls to take the ML ... Typical of my weak ass ...

I think you're right about Crosby being the hero tonight but more for not missing a FG tonight...I believe he is on the team with the better kicker.
