You guys are crazy...I'm a cheesehead and hate to say this but the line is solid... Packers are not the same team that won the super bowl or that went 15-1 last year. Packers are 0-2 SU and 0-2 ATS on the road this year and now we travel to the best home team in the league. I usually bet on the pack no matter the spread, but with the line this high I know that the Vegas WiseGuys are expecting a blowout. They have been banking on the public betting on the Pack all year. And all the action will be on GB as usual.
Note* All I bet is Packer and Badger football I don't bet against the Packers because that is just a lose-lose, but I
won't be playing on them and I suggest you all save your money too.

This is one of the more interesting games on the board. The packers have no doubt had the tougher schedule so far. Starting out against San Fran and then playing Chicago, the Saints, at Seattle, and facing a very motivated Colts team last week in Indy.
The texans on the other hand have started their season at home against the fish(tannehill's first start as a pro), the jags (miserable Blaine gabbert), the titans (miserable team all around), broncos, and the helpless injury-decimated Jets. The texans, however, have been the talk of the town on Espn. I know, I know, good teams win the games they are supposed to win....something the packers haven't quite been able to do.
That will all change Sunday night when the texans actually face a real high caliber offense. The broncos were a decent test, but they were nowhere near motivated as green bay will be this Sunday. Look for Aaron Rodgers to remind everyone of the well-oiled machine known as the green bay packers. Even with Cushing, I think the texans would struggle to contain this unit.
I think this game will get ugly and be a major turning point in green bays season. Wade Phillips will blitz way too much, and this secondary is going to have a brutal day.
My final score
Green bay 34
Texans 20

Houston is a top caliber team, obviously easily going to win their division, and has the possibility of getting to the SB. With back to back primetime games under the lights, this is a big test for them. This is not the Jets and they will have to step it up quite a bit. The Pack has been there before, and are in a hotly contested race, with both the Bears, and Vikings. I view this as a must win for GB. I'm seeing a win & cover here.

The GB defense is a middle of the pack unit this year (ranked 16th against the pass and 17th against the run). Keep in mind that these numbers are based on playing the 49ers, at Seattle, and the Bears. Believe it or not, that is a dramatic improvement from last year's unit which was one of the league's worst (and they were 15-1 last year!!).
The Texans are statistically impressive, but the best team they played all year was the Broncos. A still rusty Peyton Manning shredded this secondary to the tune of 330 yards and 2 TDs. Just imagine what a motivated & finely tuned Aaron Rodgers will do to them.
No doubt the Texans should try to give them a heavy dose of Arian Foster and keep Aaron Rodgers off the field. But sometimes, a defense just comes to play (just like they did against the Bears in week 2). I think Green Bay will come to play and have a lot to prove on Sunday NIght as they would like to remind everyone they were the best team in the league last year.
I am sticking to my prediction of Green Bay winning by two scores. If the Texans win this one, then they are Super Bowl ready. I'm just not ready to crown them yet.

Seems like my prediction was correct with everyone and their brother AGAIN taking the Packers...If GB was who the wise guys like then the line would be at 1.5 or 2 to encourage HOU bets. Looks like the public is lining up to give their money away this Sunday night

The packers are not the only ones that are highly motivated to win this game. The Texans have been hearing all of what you said and then some. They will bring their A game this sunday. Im not sure about them covering the spread but I think the Texans will win in a close one.

Lets just say What If...if both teams played each other's schedule since wk 1...I don't think the Texans will be at 5-0 right now and the Packers will be a -3 to -3.5 @ Texans.

GB has too much respect from Vegas. They are great the last 2 seasons. Houston has better offense and better defense yet the line might go down to -3. Don't forget, Texans and Niners are like the same and Niners defeated GB. Will take Texans -3

I think your confused, but I could be wrong. You list three teams above with better defenses than offenses.(In my opinion). Green Bay,s defense doesn't play against those defenses. Seattle would definately not be classified as a good offense.
Good luck in your bet. I'm on Houston. GB is just not the same team as last year. Jennings out and Raji questionable. Home field plus.

You got it, this is Houston's first real "test" of the season - I just think the Pack has too much offense for this team to keep up. Plus, have you seen how all these announcers are slobbering all over themselves "Oh my God!! J.J. Watt is on pace for 100 sacks!!!!!" Yeah, if I played tomato can offensive lines like the Jags, Titans and the Jets, I'd be on pace for that too.
Packers M/L - - and I'd also be willing to bet J.J. Swatt doesn't get one sack this game........
