green bay rodgers is a beast not to mention there D for real why would u put money on eagles  u really think they got a chance vick aint a starting qb type i predict a few ints./ fumbles from philly they lost there star running back to take tha points for greenbay

i know kolb will be at home, and he had 2 solid starts last year with 300+ yard games coming off the bench.  i feel its largely in part to defenses not being able to study up and prepare for him.  i can see a slow start to his and phillys year before they start to get things clicking on offense.  aaron rodgers is leading a strong greenbay offense that shouldnt have too many problems putting up points against the philly offense.  GB +3

why is everyone pounding gbay?  this is a virtual tossup and i hate to bet against reid at home especially when all the losers pile up $ on the visitor.  listen:  green bay and philly are nearly even in talent.  and stop blogging bullshit about how philly is rebuilding.  reid knows darn well what he's doing and has known darn well for 11 years with Philly.  wake the fuck up, people!!!  the only safe bet here is teasing philly +9 or u can go gusto and take Philly ML which isnt a bad bet at all.

FACTS:  Kolb has been  with Philly for 3 years so this is no youngster whatsoever.  In fact, only offensive starter that is new to the Philly offense is Lesean McCoy and ive got a strange feeling that you'll be hearing his name alot this season.  I mean, seriously- when was the last time Philly didnt have an effective running attack?  wake up people.  Also:  defense consists of a great defensive line along with added depth at LB position not to mention a solid secondary.  There are 8 starters that have been with Philly for at least 3 years. 

Philly is already rebuilt and possibly playoff bound.  Dont drink too much of the Green Bay kool-aid.  Otherwise, you may be one of the many with GB on a handful of tickets that you'll be wiping ur ass with at the end of the day.....REAL TALK.

ight check it it aint about tha coatches reid is good but tha players is where its at u cant have poor players with a great coach and say thell win ha philly isnt as good as u be thinking green bay nigga tha only thing philly got is a run game once greenbay shuts that down there fucked the defence  wouldent be able to contain rodgers my opinion one of tha top 3 QBs in tha game not to mention better depth so even if philly is at home u should go wit tha better team kold cant match up wit Gb in this one i bet greenbay wins this one i dont know why you wouldent bet gb there doing hot right now and it was only preeseason so amagine what thell be doing tha first game of tha season crushing niggas! gb all tha way nigga

The Packers have a mystery D. Who knows if it will cap teams below 30 points this year? They will intercept sloppy QB's, but will they pass rush? It doesn't have a mystery O. GB will score points like they did last year. 

The big difference is going to come from forced turnovers. sloppy execution of a bad plan. Good luck Eagles.

Philadelphia has been known to be poorly prepared for the beginning of the season. Can you say that about McCarthy and the Packers?

A couple of things I haven't seen mentioned on this thread is the shuffling of the offensive line in Philly and the fact that Kevin Kolb had as many pre-season touchdown passes as I did.

That last stat. doesn't worry me as much as the first one.  Seriously, from what I've been reading (and I'm a Philly fan), they don't really know who their starters are yet.

And it has already been mentioned here that Green Bay was stellar against the run last year.

As the season progresses there should be improvements but right now, I agree with the sentiment that Philly will have a tough time keeping up with Green Bay in this game, although the defense should be a strength.

I think the Packers by a field goal is a pretty safe bet here.
